Our Chance Meeting
I accidentally saw you on the station platform. You were my lover in the past. Your side face, the one I longed for, made me unconsciously greet you. You seemed surprised, so the drink in your hand fell.
The fiery days that had been destroyed, suddenly revived. We looked at each other, how are you now, how have you been since then?
I'm fine as usual, let's have coffee, even if only for a moment. The train passed us. You put two sugar cubes into your coffee cup.
This is who I am now, you said with a laugh and tossed your hair. It feels strange, doesn't it, as did our separation that day. It was only because we were both too young then. But now, we've been able to forgive each other.
However, now we're pursuing our respective dreams. This chance meeting is so beautiful. It's like we're both sheltering from the rain.
