I have never visited France, or any other country for that matter. But I wonder about the news coming out of the empire. I remember that when this whole internet phenomenon (which arrived in my country 300 years later) was already happening, I would somehow see street travelers. I remember spending hours and hours watching cultures or what a documentary of just over an hour would tell you. It was one of the most moving experiences of my life. It was intense, above all, because it broke a bubble that had lasted for decades.
In the unlikely event that I become more than just a wage earner, I would like to travel. Then I'll tell you what it would be like to visit Country and Amsterdam. At any time, a flock of pigeons in a square would change the clocks forever.
Amsterdam? I doubt if you visit that city you will ever see the real part of NL or meet the real people.
300 years later? I wonder if you travelled through time or did I?
Time on the island is something else. A parallel dimension. When everyone was already with the Internet. We were still in the era of the feudal lords. Electricity and light bulbs were not yet known.
I wish the light bulbs were back...
