When I read this yesterday, I felt paralyzed. I was unable to do anything, unable to even bring myself reply immediately.
Even now, my eyes are still wet. The pain of knowing this is too much, and the anger inside me is still boiling. Sadness and fury – those were the two things that gripped me yesterday.
We live in a horrible world.
I agree with you. I knew the girl, the parents, she was so creative and looked happy till the moment the "social" workers decided she had to be dumped back into that home. The only thing we say now is that she hopefully found rest but not one of those who harmed her will be punished.
Just when she feels there's some hope...
They always do that, it looks like a trend. I know many foster parents, the good ones, not the abusive and they all say the same. In the end we are the threat because we have a different opinion.
We live in a horrible world if we don't find the courage to step out, speak and paint it the colour we like to have it.

Hopefully it can make a little difference if not much
