RE: The last time I felt truly alive was...

in Freewriterslast month

I do not look down on anyone. I know there are people who don't have much, who don't even have anything. Who lost all their material things and even their family members. It is a very long topic to comment on. I dare say, I won't say what my right hand does so that my left hand doesn't find out.

If I can get improvements for my mattress I will try to do it now that I am working and alive. My son does have a good mattress and that makes me very happy. It's a bad day for me if I can't sleep well because of my mattress.

I'm glad your kids are doing well. If they are doing well, the parents are doing well.

My dear friend:
I apologize if my words took wings and went down other paths. Feelings are that bundle of unpredictable things, which we try to define. I have a vision anchored to my island. But I consume much of what is published in the world. I am always hurt by the unfair. As I read about it, I just began to imagine people I had recently seen lying in the street. It was ugly to see, it must be unbearable to live it. It was on a general topic. I know what a great person you are. You have my appreciation and my friendship.

Maybe I should have put some laughter in my text so it didn't feel so strong. I think these pages are for our amusement. The sadness of the world is terrible and the things we see everyday are so unfair to some. I live in a country that went from a great bonanza to a great decline. Not that we turn a blind eye, but if we can help the one in need, let's help. If we can enjoy a little after our work sacrifices, it is also good to do so. Your friend gertu.

There are also many with a way better life than we have. Let's for a change compare us as the poor with them and reach for the stars instead of always telling ourselves we don't deserve anything better because there are people more pathetic than we are. How about that?
You and I both know how hard we struggled all those years to be where we are, the bad health included.
If the poor like it or not, we worked for that mattress and it's no fun if you get out of bed like a crimple and need the entire day to recover.

You are right, wakeupkitty, I believe that both you and I, we do not compare ourselves to anyone, but it is true that there are many people who are much better off than us, after they have worked as much or less than us. I don't know, that's the way the world is, I'm not going to fix it. What I do know is that every day I get up to work hard, I do not complain. If I can help someone, I will do it with pleasure.
I just work to achieve what I have. If a mattress is going to screw me up, I sleep on the floor. It's as important to sleep as it is to work, for me.
Yes, I remember all that we have fought for. We always write, as long as you and I have known each other, about health problems, food, responsibility for children, and many other things; that's hard work.
Always onward and upward!
