I have one more! Because even though winter has definitely arrived here, I'm still thinking about the season before. I simply loved the last autumn, and it seemed to last almost forever and I thought it would stay forever. But of course it had to make way for its frosty successor, which will keep us at bay for the next few weeks. But that's precisely why it's all the more important to enjoy all the colors that autumn recently spoiled us with.
I was particularly taken with a park that I recently discovered and explored on one of my commutes to work. I then stopped by here almost every week for a short break and enjoyed the wonderful sights that nature wanted to delight us with.
And it is precisely these colors that even in these days give me a little happiness and a cheerful mood, even though it looks completely different outside now. But a few weeks ago, the colorful spectacle on the trees and bushes was in full swing and I was always right in the middle of it. And I felt very comfortable there.

Einen habe ich noch! Denn auch wenn nun auch bei uns endgültig der Winter eingezogen ist, bin ich in Gedanken immer noch bei der Jahreszeit davor. Der Herbst hatte es mit diesmal einfach angetan, und für schien er fast ewig anzuhalten und für immer bleiben zu wollen. Aber natürlich musste er auch dieses Platz machen für seinen frostigen Nachfolger, der uns die nächsten Wochen in Schach halten wird. Aber gerade deshalb ist es um so wichtiger, sich ab und zu noch einmal an all den Farben zu berauschen, mit denen uns der Herbst vor Kurzem noch verwöhnt hatte.
Mir hatte es insbesondere ein Park angetan, den ich auf einem meiner Arbeitswege entdeckt und erkundet hatte. Fast wöchentlich schaute ich hier nun auf einen kurzen Stopp vorbei und genoss die herrlichen Anblicke, mit denen die Natur uns hier verwöhnen wollte.
Und genau diese Farben sind es, die mir in diesen Tagen ein wenig Frohnsinn und gute Laune bereiten, obwohl wenn es draußen nun ganz anderes aussieht. Aber vor ein einigen Wochen war das bunte Spektakel auf den Bäumen und Büschen in vollem Gange und ich war immer wieder mittendrin. Und ich habe mich dabei äußerst wohl gefühlt.
It was this interplay of yellow, red and green that had excited me so much. And it was the many different maple trees in particular that played a big part in this spectacle which not only captivated me so much. Sometimes the red leaves almost looked like blossoms and you could easily imagine that it was only spring.
Es war dieses Zusammenspiel von Gelb, Rot und Grün, was mich so sehr begeistert hatte. Und es waren insbesondere die vielen verschiedenen Ahornbäume, die daran einen ganz großen Anteil hatten und nicht nur mich in ihren Bann gezogen hatte. Manchmal wirkten die roten Blätter fast wie Blüten und man stellte sich vor, dass man ja eigentlich erst im Frühling wäre.
But like flowers, it's the same with leaves. Neither stay forever and are only here temporarily to inspire us. And that is precisely why we should never miss an opportunity to look around outside in nature, no matter what time of year it is.
Aber wie Blüten geht es auch den Blättern. Beide bleiben nicht für ewig und sind nur vorübergehend hier, um uns zu begeistern. Und gerade deshalb sollten wir egal keine Gelegenheit auslassen, uns draußen in der Natur umzusehen, eganz egal zu welcher Jahreszeit.
And since it was autumn when I visited, it was the colorful leaves that were shining so wonderfully. And they came in so many different shades of color that you couldn't stop marveling and applauding. All the beauty around us was a great fun.
Und da es bei meinen Besuchen Herbst war, waren es halt die bunten Blätter, die so wundervoll leuchteten. Und die in so vielen verschiedenen Farbschattierungen daher kamen, dass man aus dem Staunen und Jubeln gar nicht mehr heraus kommen wollte. All die Schönheit um einen herum hat ja auch Spaß gemacht.
Whether yellow, orange or red, I loved all the colors and as there was still a lot of green to discover in between as well. So sometimes it didn't feel like autumn at all, in this late and sometimes already grey season. On the contrary, you could still feel that there was plenty of life outside in nature.
Ob nun Gelb, Orange oder Rot, mir hatten es alle Farben angetan und da es dazwischen auch immer noch eine ganze Menge an Grün zu entdecken gab, fühlte es sich manchmal gar nicht an wie im Herbst, in dieser so späten und machmal bereits so grauen Jahreszeit. Ganz im Gegenteil, draußen in der Natur konnte man noch eine ganze Menge an Leben spüren.
And even though this wonderful colorful spectacle is now over and a completely different season is ruling, I can still enjoy my memories today thanks to my many pictures. We all need a little color in our lives and in our day-to-day routine, and spring with its new blossoms is unfortunately still a little way off. So until then, I'll be looking in my photo folder every now and then and enjoying the many photos I was able to take in the fall. I will think back full of longing, but also full of gratitude. And then I will enjoy the day around me, no matter what the weather or the season.
Und auch wenn dieses herrliche bunte Schauspiel nun vorbei ist und eine ganz andere Jahreszeit regiert, kann ich mich Dank meiner vielen Bilder auch heute noch daran erfreuen. Ein wenig Farbe im Leben und in unserem Alltag brauchen wir doch alle, und bis zum Frühling mit seinen neuen Blüten ist es leider noch ein wenig hin. Bis dahin werde ich also noch ab und zu in meinen Bilderordner schauen, und mich an den vielen Fotos erfreuen, die ich im Herbst machen durfte. Und ich werde voller Sehnsucht zurückdenken, aber auch voller Dankbarkeit. Und dann werde ich den Tag um mich herum genießen, ganz egal wie das Wetter und die Jahreszeit sein sollte.
