District Equipment Control Office means that all kinds of goods are supplied to Bangladesh Railways, from this equipment control office, all kinds of goods and parts that are added to the railway fleet are supplied to the railway department of the entire western region.And all the goods that are abandoned are added to the railway fleet, from where the useless goods are deposited back in the story depot.

Abandoned and damaged or useless goods are deposited in this store. The deposited goods are sold as lots, new goods are purchased and all kinds of goods that are made in Bangladesh Railway Factory Saidpur such as machine shop and tool room shop are deposited in the store. They are again distributed according to demand. The goods are taken out to distribute to different places with the help of store vans.

These motors were once used to make railway goods and were used to operate cranes, and are these heavy motors present inside railway locomotives? These motors are used for railway turning. The very powerful motor has been deposited in the store as it is useless, and a new motor will be purchased after passing the budget from the railway.

All the railway goods in the western part of Bangladesh are stored in this depot. There are two regions of the Bangladesh Railway, one is the eastern region and the other is the western region.

The largest factory in Bangladesh Railway is the Syedpur Railway Factory. A store depot has been built next to the Syedpur Railway Factory. There is a depot next to each factory. Its largest railway depot is the Syedpur Railway Store Depot. From this depot, goods are supplied to Parbatipur, Santahar, Ishwardi, Ibrahimabad, Dhaka, Joydevpur, Dhaka, Kamalapur and even Chittagong.

The store depot plays a very important role and being located next to the Bangladesh Railway Workshop makes it possible to deliver goods quickly.This store and the British-era railway facilities were built by the then British Prime Minister for the convenience of the railways, but now they are running in disarray due to lack of manpower.

Goods are delivered to all railway depots throughout Bangladesh through store delivery vans. Five to seven people are employed in these vans and they are involved in delivery work for a month.This is our national asset and it is our moral responsibility to maintain it.
