Today I will pin up a beautiful and popular place in our country on the Steem-atlas map and discuss it. The name of the place is Zia Udyan, it is located in the southwestern region of our country's capital Dhaka, in an area called Bijoy Sarani.

Here is the tomb of our country's President late Ziaur Rahman. There is a lake next to it and the name of this lake is Crescent Lake. Numerous devotees come every day to see this lake and the garden.

This garden is also known as Chandrima Udyan, it was earlier named Chandrima Udyan but after the burial of President Ziaur Rahman, it was renamed Zia Udyan to match his name. No specific ticket is required to enter here, it is open to the public.

This garden consists of 74 acres of land. The government had a budget of 35 crore takas to build everything on 74 acres of land, which is 2,25,80,645 steem at the Steem Prize.

It is open every day of the week from 6 am to 12 am, there are always CCTV cameras inside for security and 20-25 Ansars (Village Defence Party) and 30-35 police as administration people. There is no fixed closing day.

Mosque, library and stairs

Inside there is a pond, a cemetery, a public washroom, a library, a physical exercise center and a mosque. Where everyone prays more or less. Although the mosque is white, the stairs are made of red bricks and there are buildings made of red bricks on both sides of the mosque.

Tree garden and various types of trees

Since it is under the government, there are various types of trees here, there are beautiful roads that seem to be a unique wonder in nature and make the mind cool and soft. The entire place is covered with trees that can be shared by walking around and enjoying each other in the shade.

Crescent Lake

There are 2 ways to enter inside and 1 way is through a hanging bridge in Crescent Lake. However, this Crescent Lake looks like a crescent, hence the name Crescent. However, since there is a beautiful bridge over this lake, the lake can be seen completely from the bridge.

Suspension bridge over the lake and glass on the floor

The special feature of this hanging bridge is that it is built on steel hangers. The weight of the bridge is specially placed on hanger pipes, and it stands on a single RCC arch, but the arch is made of three-dimensional concrete.

The bridge's deck or deck is made of modern quality glass which has been imported from abroad. The thickness of this glass is 31 millimeters. Surprisingly, this bridge can carry 200 tons of weight.

Across the green pond and our lunch arrangements there

There are 2 ponds inside which make this garden more attractive. There is a seating area by the pond and many people sit there and enjoy spending time there.

The green water of the pond and the surroundings of the pond are another reason for the attraction. We sat by the pond and had lunch and enjoyed an endless time.

Children's toys inside and ice cream carts on the way

There are various children's toys there which many people play with their families and children to enjoy the beautiful moments. Also, there is a car selling ice cream there, everyone likes ice cream more or less in the summer, but the people in charge of the administration do not stop the car and sell ice cream there, and even if they do, they stop them.

Ziaur Rahman's grave

There is a 36 feet altar made of white marble stone at the tomb of Ziaur Rahman. A black transparent stone is placed between the grave and the altar. At the top of the tomb, which is 37 feet above the ground, there is a dreamy canopy made of steel and glass and there are 4 ways to enter here.

Delonix regia Trees by the lake and some fast food shops there

There are also numerous Delonix regia on the lake, which are known to everyone. The red flowers among the green leaves of the trees make nature beautiful. This beautiful scene also fascinated me. Everyone comes here to visit to see such nature.

Some sit on the lakeside, while many find a pleasant atmosphere in the shade of the trees. There are some fast food shops there, there are many small shops with chairs and tables on the lakeside.

Parking

There is a nice parking facility there and there is no charge for it. However, it did not seem safe to me, as everyone is parking in public places and even if the car is locked, there is still a risk.
