RE: Team Europe’s Deep Dive (Report #3)

I've connected with great Brazilians in the past

Yes, it's a great pity that we long-term Steemians in particular have to talk about the past so often recently.
In the past, this place was also teeming with German users - some of them remarkable authors, some of them just great people. They have all left. Probably only wisely, as they recognised the signs of development early on... 😔

I am also pleased to have met you. Unfortunately much too late...

sometimes difficult to change our routines to accommodate new habits...

Sure! Unfortunately, it is not difficult for most people to get used to something that the big stake-holders - explicitly ‘the Steemit team’ - have supposedly said. I am somewhat disgusted by this begging ‘follow-the-money mentality’ or conformity of all those who once also had influence. Sorry - I've seen too much in this curator month. Much more than I would ever have dared to imagine.

I loved this description

We have certainly made an effort and (not only) really dealt with the voted posts. So much for the topic of time... 😉

PETAR

Wow! If I ever get to Brazil, I have to go there!

So long, dear Massola... 😊

This sentence got to me, and I have to confess that this has been a difficult reply to write. I also have been really disappointed and sad with nany things that happened and that continue to happen in this network. However, after my beloved twitter was hijacked from night to day, and it was blocked off in Brazil for some time, I wanted to try to go back to at least creating content somewhere more decentralized; and I hoped this was still the place for it.

And even though I'm not sure anymore of a lot of things, I still like to be writing in here and sometimes interacting with people that I'd otherwise wouldn't be able to, so as long as it's still making sense to me, I'll keep doing it. And despite some disappointments, it's been a truly great surprise to see the work you, @the-gorilla, and @moecki have done through @team-europe and the curating account! To quote your words from one of the NO posts, interactions are what truly make a network social, and your interactions really inspired me to continue trying to create the best content I could, for me and for the community.

It's definitely one of the most special places here in my dear country! But, even if you come to Brazil and you don't have the opportunity to visit PETAR, if you pass by my chaotic but unique city of São Paulo, it will be a pleasure to give you a tour.

So long, dear chriddi :))
