RE: Report as Steem Representative, 02.08.2024

in Steem POD Teamlast year

Hi @o1eh, I do not comment lately much due to tight time schedule but when I am a bit free that is something that I like to read and to express my opinion.

I have noticed that you spend enormous effort to do promotion work, I am impressed with the energy that you have and it made me sad to hear that it is so many obstacles for new beginnings.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of regulations, often we do not see immediate benefit but there is definitely some good thought behind all that.

When talking about attracting investors and other users who would bring more people we have to think what part of society would be essential?

People who have their work and business they will not be interesting in such blogging unless it is their hobby to write and communicate and also provided they have time to keep their blog active.

What actually I thought and this is really a group of society that can make a change is youth, we all know that they are well connected with each other with different electronic network and one of it is Computer Games, why? Just look around kids receiving their first consoles as soon as they understand what button to press to make the figures to do something. The older they get the more complex game they would like to have. Two words Nintendo and Super Mario is well know to everyone. Recently you can get into online gaming through that. Thinking about what to gift to a teen we end up buying for example "Steam Gift Cards " the kids love it and for parents it is an easy gift.

What I mean with that we need to make the platform interesting for young people with introducing computer game that will be based on Steem. The time when we had Splinterlands we had a bigger community of the gamers who left together with splinterlands.

This is the direction that Developers should think about and that advertisement should be directed.

I would love to play a game built on the Steem blockchain, whatever that is. Unfortunately, there is no such thing now. Despite all the possibilities Steem offers, very few developers are interested in it. Therefore, probably one of the priority directions can be the promotion of Steem with the aim of attracting the interest of new developers who would independently search for what exactly they would like to implement on the basis of the Steem blockchain. They can be motivated by the opportunity to learn how to work with the blockchain themselves, and in case of success of their developments, also by the opportunity to earn.

Your opinion is very correct. A successful game, or some other successful project, would draw attention to the Steem blockchain and demonstrate that it is not only alive, but also able to grow successfully.
