[Summary] SLC27/W3 | Video Editing & Upload Optimization

Greetings to everyone!!

The competition in the third week of the “Learn to Be a YouTuber” program has just ended. In the first week, the number of participants in this class was quite high, reaching 46 people, while in the second week, the number dropped by 50% with only 23 participants successfully submitting their work, and in the third week, the number of participants dropped again to only 13 participants who successfully submitted their work. Perhaps many were busy and had a little more work to do. Although the number of participants decreased, I can see that the quality of their writing has improved, with more creative ideas and better presentation styles.

This week, I only asked participants to make videos according to the scripts they had written previously or new scripts. In addition, they showed the video editing process until they uploaded it to their YouTube channels properly. When uploading the videos, they also learned how to write good titles, descriptions, tags, and hashtags, not to mention creating attractive thumbnails.

I noticed that many participants wrote well, showed creativity, and demonstrated a good understanding of how to build their YouTube channel identity. Based on the assessment process that I considered, including writing quality, originality of ideas, completeness, neatness, and creativity of posts, here are the top 6 winners for week 3:

Remember that next week we will enter a more advanced phase, namely Branding & Thumbnails. I hope you understand the direction of the contest. Don't forget that thumbnails are very influential in increasing the number of viewers who click on your videos.
