The cheerful shadows of the **seafront promenade** - Las sombras alegres del **Paseo marítimo**
There are more than 2.5 kilometres of promenade in Sitges, where tourists, joggers and thousands of people stroll every day. This concrete railing separates the beach from the promenade, which is on a higher level, creating beautiful views.
Hay más de 2.5 Km de Paseo Marítimo en Sitges, por allí pasean los turistas, los que hacen ejercicio, y miles de personas a diario. Esta barandilla de hormigón separa la playa del paseo que se encuentra en un nivel más elevado creando hermosas vistas.
The shadow cast by the railing is hypnotic to me. When I walk on it, I become a little girl stepping between the columns projected on the ground.
Shadows are sometimes associated with dark or sinister things, but in this case, it seems like an extension of a work of art.
La sombra que proyecta la baranda para mí es hipnótica. Cuando camino sobre ella me convierto en una niña pisando entre los las columnas proyectadas en el suelo.
Las sombras a veces se relacionan a cosas oscuras o tenebrosas, pero en este caso parece la extensión de una obra de arte.
I am pleased to be able to show these shadows that glide day after day, counting the pages of the calendar, always the same since 1926, when it was inaugurated.
Natural curiosity led me to do some research, and I discovered that the works, which included many renovations for the city, including these railings, began in 1918.
The place is beautiful, and if you ever have the opportunity, be sure to visit it.
Me agrada poder mostrar estas sombras que se deslizan día tras día contando las hojas del calendario, siempre igual desde 1926, cuando se inauguró.
La curiosidad natural me llevó a investigar un poco y las obras que incluían muchas reformas para la ciudad, incluyendo estas barandillas, comenzaron en 1918.
El lugar es precioso y si algún día tienen la oportunidad no dejen de visitarla.

It looks beautiful. I doubt I ever saw the promenade been divided from the beach and sea.
It's like a terrace from which you can contemplate the sea and all the scenes unfolding there. The shadow cast by the railing has always seemed to me as if someone were lying down to rest after a hard day.
Me encantaron estas sombras. Es la propia imagen del espejo. Además ese fondo martítimo me hizo sentir no solo la calidez del sol, sino también la brisa marina. Excelente participación, amiga mía.
