It is not easy to let go of a past. No matter how much we want to forget, we will always have something of that past in our memories.
You can't forget, especially if the memories have left their mark on us. Some people get depressed, others, including me, rise stronger. In my case, I developed a very strong character, I admit it.
It is the bad experiences that make us who we are today. I have been through a lot throughout my life. I can say that now in my old age, as a senior citizen, I can take a break from taking a lot of hits.
I always thank God for everything I've been through, because he made me strong to carry and to be able to endure more and more.
That is why I congratulate you. If life gave you harder and harder blows, it was to put you where you are today. That's my philosophy of life, and I don't ask you to share it. I just tell it to you.
