RE: Depression

in CCC2 days ago

The problem lies in waiting to see someone with problems before we show empathy.
If we consider ourselves mentally healthy, we must act as such. We must stop being so explosive. When someone doesn't do things the way we do, we must stop being so aggressive. We must put our thoughts about others first. We must act more with love for others than with reason.
We never know what a person is going through inside when they don't smile at us on the street, when they don't look at us. When they don't look up from the ground to see us somewhere.
Life is very complicated for many people today. There are people from the crystal generation, from the so-called special generations. We have to be friendlier, more empathetic wherever we go.

Of course my dear, you are absolutely right; more empathy is the key, unfortunately today's generations are not the same as the ones we grew up in. We were more outdoorsy, more of the street and physical activities. We had to become strong by nature.

Sometimes we have no idea how many unfortunate things happen because we don't measure our actions, because we don't consider the state of mind of the other person.... It is terrible.
