Oh, why?
In his car, he is sitting comfortably. His radio is on and it is on low volume. He is used to this kind of traffic by now, as this is the same road that he passes by everyday to pick his daughter from school. It was a lovely day as there was little breezes of cool air, which goes perfectly with the heat of the sun. His daughter is in the back seat looking at the other cars from the window as if this is her first time seeing others driving. He can see her from the rear mirror with her short legs that do not reach to the floor of the car.
She randomly asked him, where are all these people going?
He replied quickly, they are just like us, picking their kids from school.
She said: why are some of them having their windows open?
He replied: some people like the natural air.
She said: Why don't you like it?
He felt sort of irritated, but not really, as she jumped to the conclusion, at the end she is just his little daughter. Then he replied: I do.
She said: Why don't we open the windows then?
He said: The car air conditioner is good and the weather outside is good too.
She said: There must be one that is better.
He said: The car air conditioner is better.
She said: Where does it come from?
He said: The sky.
She said: Then, the car in cooling the place than the sky.
He stopped for few seconds to think of a reply. At the end he does not want to hurt her way of exploration by not providing her answers. He realized at the same time that, kids ask complex questions at times and he needs to reply in a proper way to guide, and not mislead. Then, he replied: It's our own preference and it is not about the weather itself. Now, we have reached home, we should go inside to have lunch.
