RE: My entry to: Contest 4.44 Looking Back/Looking Ahead #ccc
You two achieved a lot I am surprised how much. Feels as if it's a long time ago you baked cookies and muffins to earn extra.
I'm so glad to hear you can practice your job again. Your office sounds great and with it you can help many people.
You and your son are clearly still a team which is precious.
I do not have much plastic bottles. Do you reuse the 1 and 2 litres for the plants too or only bigger ones?
I saw a video about tomatoplants potted in 5 litres bottles hanging upside down. It looks interesting. I would like to try that if my plants grow at all. It's cold again and it rained a lot. My rain/watter barrel overflow yesterday. Will see if I can find another one.
All the best, luck and love to you.

Yes, my friend, my son always tells me that we are a good team and that he will never leave me aside. I just tell him to wait for tomorrow and in the meantime enjoy today.
I recycle everything plastic. I use the 1 and 2 liter bottles as seedbeds by cutting them in half and as pots by cutting them only 10 cm from the bottom.
I have seen those videos of tomatoes growing downwards and I don't know where it will be because my plants grow and bend looking for the sun. I don't think if I plant them down they will go to the same place.
Rain water is important for the plants, how they grow when water falls from the sky!
I think the tomato planted upside down grows up to the light. Saw how cucumber was planted in a bottle and the bottle partly in the earth.
What I find tricky is how to pull the plant through the opening of the bottle.
You cut the 1-2 litres bottles horizontal?
If I see all those videos about what people do with plastic bottles it's hard to believe there's so much trash.
I noticed too rain water does plants good even if it looks as if it's too much.
Yes, exactly horizontally and also vertically for long and short pots.
