I am not sure about the photo. I assume it's the dessert, and those little "balls" are they the fritters and why is it eaten together, if that's the case?
With gold the issue is: who will buy it if everything goes down and if the value drops I experienced that myself.
It's a combination of the sweetness of custard and the saltiness of fritters since it's made with flour and a lot of cheese.
So it's a caramel custard and the fritters are with cheese? I love cheese 😁
