The Pillow of Depression

in CCC2 days ago

my comment on @solperez her post. Vongratulations with your 4 dolphins - I don't nnounce them just the 2nd and/or 3rd because @patjewell mentioned it. Why care?

I have no idea what to say to motivate you.

Like you I am here over 7 years and I don't count the days, not the date, not the Steem. All I care about is how to pay the next prizes to those joining my contests and the contests I sponsor. You know what? Some of my comtests are not even mentioned by @discord. If you ask me that says enough about... (you can fill out here whatever you like).

Me supporting others, writing, commenting, it always has been that way and no one I gave a hand did ever repay me the favour (perhaps @botefarm will) during or should I say after they became succesfull, all those years. Not even an upvote is in it and like you I notice always the same receive the upvotes no matter if the post is generated by AI (which I already mentioned at the start of 2024).
Like you I also noticed there's no need to post at least 4 times per week like @patjewell said (you already figured that out since you received higher upvotes during the past weeks of your absence than before or me)

There are plenty who rarely post and still receive a high upvote (even for a post written by their friend, a student or...).

Plagiarism, the use of AI is clearly only not allowed if you are a tiny sardine or someone they do not like.

If it comes to rewards:

There's a limit to the pool and if big fish farm and a small group of fat cats are always overfeeded there's simply not much left.

*Those fat cats by the way are not from my country, not from Belgium and you find them most likely in your own country fanatically fishing in the pont. *

If it comes to self voting I once asked @heriadi how or what.
If you ask me there's no rule which forbids you to self vote or not vote for others (why should you if no one votes back since this means the circle is broken and only those you reward will grow unlike you. The same happens to me. I mainly vote those with no notable voting power.

Quess what? Even AI could tell me the difference between me and the other witnesses and @the-gorilla. Kind of funny if you consider this.

Options:

  • We can try it out and start being greedy for a change. What do you think about that? Is it a good reason to stay?
  • You can sell your soul to the devil, but my guess is el diablo is busy and after swelling your soul you still will be used and fooled, but you never know.
  • You ignore and do what brings you fun (don't count with karma being a bitch since karma only exists if you believe in it, same for voodoo but who knows...)
  • You leave. Investing time you can use to do what brings you pleasure or get paid should not be wasted by hanging around on a platform hoping for curators not able to recognise talent, skills, art, the magic of the written word (I skip the upvotes from friends since you you have no whale among them).

Curators who never comment, hardly read, never intergrate other than through a contest or via teaching/gaming (where they let a team do the job) shouldn't curate. They lack the skills and time.

By the way: @heriadi said 10% self voting is allowed. Not that this would help me or you forward.

###Value of Steem
I disagree it's all dismanagement why the value is low like @dove remarked. You cannot tell an investor not to earn, sell, exchange and make profit. If not with Steem with something else.

Unlike you I did invest in Steem, I did buy Steem for euros and lost my investment, kind of waste of money I could use for my pension or to be buried. Like you I have to and will consider what to do next. If Steem has nothing to offer to secure life, your future, it's time to sail into a different direction.

What was a huge dismanagement was attracting as many as people as possible who are not able to invest, since investors are urgently needed. he

The payment of many who kept powering down, the SRs and many who actually did nothing for this platform and kept the little fish small is a mistake and a waste of Steem and energy and time.

The SCs are a good iniative but there are accounts being abused month after month.

Facts

Internet should be paid and food and clothing come first.
It's good to have a platform where one can meet people like we all did on Steemit like @weisser-rabe remarked, but if Steemit is the only place where you meet them it's time to invest time in the real world since it's not unlikely we might need them and we all will suffer from more blackouts and restrictions.

Btw, I share the same pillow as you.

My advice?

No matter how hard it is, try to do what mainly brings you happiness or at least a feeling of satisfaction.
The thing is you can be present, an influencer but as soon as you stay away no one will ask how or what and you are just one out of many ex Steemians.

♥️🍀

Some birds to feed the cats with, fat cats always eat even if they vomit.👇

That's fine, who knows you will if you continue reading.

 yesterday

Doing what we like gives us satisfaction, happiness is fleeting, it rarely appears and when it does it fades quickly.

 yesterday

I am sure you know what I mean and if you cannot figure out what you like, avoid doing what you don't like. If it comes to happiness it's a feeling, one that pops up at unexpected moments.
