RE: Desatar la rabia me costó una multa/Unleashing my rage cost me a fine

There are no ‘weapons of peace’. One excludes the other. So your neighbour was an old man, but still a stupid man. No reason not to tell him that... ;-))

However, throwing a stone won't solve any of the immense problems (or are there not enough stones...?) I don't know how people of integrity could bring about a change in thinking these days. I just don't know.

Sort:

Of course, there are no "weapons of peace," but that's the rhetoric my country's politicians use. They even say they "love us too much" and that's why they confront powerful countries to prevent them from invading our nation. The truth is, they make us suffer, while they live the "high life."

Certainly, age isn't necessarily related to cognitive maturity, hehe.

The stone didn't solve anything; it was just a means to drain so much helplessness. But, apparently, it was "worse the cure than the disease," as we say in my town, hehe.

Thank you for your valuable comment.#
