the last series I found that I thought was truly good was Landman with Billy Bob Thornton. The others that I have seen in 2025 have been just ok.

thanks for the suggestion! I'll pass it on to my father, too, and maybe it will be our next series to watch together. I feel like the quality of series lately has been indeed lacking, unfortunately
