This coin seemed so ordinary in it's design almost typical of USSR styled socialist art and not really appealing added that its only .500 silver whereas most European have a higher fineness.
The gem in the rough was the amazing story of this unassuming aristocrat from what most European gentry would considered Bulgaria second rate and his father Ferdinand considered a "Loser".
A movie should be made of Tsar Boris III of Bulgaria.
