The México mint has been operating forever, just like the US Mint, and have produced lovely coins, and I think the appeal of their designs is the larger and “rougher” art work. The US Mint designs have always been “mire refined”... just my opinion. Their older coins also appear to be heftier because they are smaller in diameter. The modern Libertad are more like the American Silver Eagle in diameter and thickness. I might get more of these in the future. Sorry, I just woke up, I think I am a bit chatty, lol!
