Cannabis is a famous drug and herb in Pakistan and India. It has been named according to its effects. Since thoughts are scattered immediately after its use, which sometimes makes a person lose consciousness, in Arabic it is called Waraq al-Khayal.

It contains a lot of intoxicants, which does not cause the patient to feel pain, but rather pleasure and enjoyment, which is why it is called nishat-afza, falak-seer and arsh-nama. The hemp plant is one to three yards long. A sticky, sticky liquid called hashish comes out of it and freezes. The hemp plant has small leaves, branches, and flowers. Cannabis is used extensively in our area, in monasteries and shrines, by various people, who are called Malang in our language, and remain isolated from the world at all times.
