How are you Steemians. Hope you all are well. I am good too by the grace of ALLAH ALMIGHTY ❤️. My name is jiya and I am on Steemit as @jiya99. I am becoming a physiotherapist. I have completed my 3 years of degree. Today I am going to tell you about the hypertension.

What is hypertension?

What hypertension is, hypertension means increasing blood pressure above the normal range. The normal range of the blood pressure is 120/80 mmHg. The systolic pressure and diastolic pressure systolic pressure is when the heart contracts and diastolic pressure is when the heart relaxes. This historic pressure is 120 mm mercury and diastolic pressure is 80 mm mercury.

Causes

The main cause of hypertension is intake of too much salt in the diet. Hypertension occurs due to diabetes mellitus fat or obesity these are all risk factors. When a person is too obese then there are more chances of getting disease than a slim person. Other genetics can also play a role. If your father mother or family has hypertension then the child has more chance of getting the hypertension.

Lack of the physical activity

Also, the lack of physical activity can cause hypertension if you eat too many calories in the food but don't exercise or don't work you sit for a long period without any activity then which can cause obesity and fats that lead to hypertension.

Smoking and cholesterol

Smoking is another cause of hypertension. Hyperlipidemia also causes hypertension. Hyperlipidemia means increased lipids ( cholesterol). There are two types of cholesterol HDL and LDL. HDL is good cholesterol and LDL is bad cholesterol increase in LDL can lead to hypertension.

Treatment

Treatment involves the prevention of taking the salt. Eating healthy food. Taking medication such as capoten medicine.
Lisinopril is also taken for high BP.

Other treatment involves quitting tobacco or quitting smoking if it is a reason for high blood pressure then making your lifestyle better by eating healthy walking doing the exercise that is best for the prevention of heart diseases that occur due to hypertension diabetes mellitus or high cholesterol levels.

The salt we consume is easily eliminated by the body, unlike sugars. That's why we see that diabetes doesn't occur alone; it's always accompanied by hypertension. To maintain normal blood pressure, we must completely eliminate the consumption of sugars and refined flour. Salt cannot be stopped.
Unfortunately, around here, salt with fluoride is available; fluoride is very harmful, which is why we must consume little salt. In Venezuela, we must also stop consuming gluten.
Animal fats and avocados are fine. Industrial oils are not; they are petrochemical-based. Heredity isn't the determining factor; bad eating habits are. The consumption of processed and ultra-processed products must also be avoided.
Only eating the fruits of nature will keep us healthy and avoid drugs, which only mask symptoms.
