Cuando hablamos de los orígenes de Rock, metal Rock o incluso el Heavy Metal, siempre escuchamos referencias a la música clásica, algunos hablan de Beethoven, Bach o Schubert, pero si es verdad que las obras realizadas por esto grandes músicos al mo0dificar los tiempos suelen generar sonidos que realmente suenan a estos géneros, pero el único y verdadero origen del Heavy Metal, Metal Rock y los subgeneros afines es el compositor Ingles Gustav Hold, su obra es sin ningún tipo de variación en los tiempos, ni en la interpretación el verdadero sonido del Metal, incluso quienes disfrutan de su obra suelen referir la gran similitud a la música de Hollywood tal es el caso de la música de la película Star Wars, pero de igual forma su sonido es muy similar al de Black Sabat incluso de Metálica, mas lo interesante es que este compositor nacido en los finales del siglo XIX y entre 1914 y 1917 compuso las obras que mas influenciarían a los compositores del metal, para que puedas apreciar este gran compositor escucharemos la música de la película Star Wars y la Suite al planeta Marte de Gustavo Hold, igualmente el tema Eyes of the world de la banda Rainbow.
