✅ What does "refugee" mean in your own words? Is this day celebrated in your country?
Refugees is a word that describes individuals who are displaced to the point of crossing their borders to seek refuge as a result of natural or man-made disasters. This disaster could be war, fire disaster, flood, Earthquake, persecution or any other form of disaster.

✅ Name a country that is known for hosting a large number of refugees. What is the current situation of them?
Turkey is one country that hosts a large number of refugees. Currently, Turkey is the world's leading refugee-hosting country and most of these refugees are from Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria and Ukraine. It is worthy to note that different bodies make donations or provide support to refugees in Turkey among which are: the European Union, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Turkish Red Crescent, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), UNICEF and others.
✅ How do you think children who are refugees might be affected by leaving their homes?
Refugee children are experiencing different kinds of effects or challenges by leaving their homes, and some of these effects may be psychological while others may be physical; some effects are immediate, and some are later. These include:
- Loss of physical and social environment/adjustment: These children may find it difficult to adjust to their new environment due to the displacement.
- . Trauma: Some children witness how their parents or other family members died through the incident that brought them to the camp, which may lead to depression or affect their mental health.
- Education: The children will miss school for some time.
- Poverty: Parent may lose their source of livelihood, which will lead to poverty and will, in turn, hurt the children.
- Vulnerability: Children become exposed to abuse and other form of sicknesses.

✅ If you could send a message of hope to a refugee. What would it say?
My message of hope to the refugees:
Be strong and courageous to face the challenges ahead of you. You are not fotgotten. The present situation (hart time) you are facing will only last for a moment, and a shout of joy or a shout of victory will follow. We have you in our mind and praying for you always.
Conclusion
The refugee camp is not a good place to be, and those who are there are forced by unpleasant circumstances. Therefore, we all have the responsibility to support them. I invite @uzma4884, @afrinn, @roohiasif99 and @zory23 to also join the contest.
