A meeting in Madrid convened by Spain brought together European and Arab nations to address the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza, urging increased, unrestricted aid access and condemning Israel's actions.

The participants emphasized the need for massive humanitarian aid to alleviate suffering caused by a near three-month blockade resulting in severe shortages of food, water, and medicine.

Spain's foreign minister called for international sanctions against Israel to end the ongoing conflict and prevent further loss of life.
