RE: Contest - My Happiness - The Soul's Awareness

Hello Kitty, this morning I read your beautiful poem as soon as I woke up, and a smile accompanied me during the reading. I am convinced that happiness is a consequence of sadness and conversely. These two precious feelings are like twin sisters, born from the same mother, which is love and passion for life. Thank you, Kitty, for involving me and sharing your stories. Have a great weekend.

It is good to hear I could bring a smile on your face. If I reach, besides of me, one other person it's okay. I am aware many will not understand what I'm writing about but this is what I want to share and experience.
I agree with you and for sure many more do. It's important for us (introverts - the thinkers) to know we are not alone and share the same feelings.

This tooic reminded me of an old Dutch TV commercial where was said: imagine you have a party daily, every day wearing your best suit, partying wearing your party hat...

Dear Kitty, you made me reflect on how often we hide behind masks to face society, generating unnecessary stress and distancing ourselves from our authentic essence. This tendency to conform, driven by fear of judgment and the desire to belong, risks slowly transforming us into what we have tried to avoid for years. The pressure to fit in to gain belonging, often ephemeral and driven by superficial interests, threatens to make us lose the integrity of our soul. Your metaphor made me reflect on the absurdity of sacrificing our true nature for fleeting acceptance. I share your invitation to seek authenticity and happiness beyond appearances and I reject the idea of having to change just to fit in. Thank you for reminding me of the importance of staying true to what we truly believe.

The worst thing that can happen is to lose yourself or even do so before you know who you are.
As a child/teenager I struggled and decided I can't do it. The thing was (is) no matter how hard I try I will not be liked (Dutch expression: those who want to beat a dog will always find a stick).

It's better to be alone than in a crowd and I do not need people to make me feel unhappy.

Please, stay true to yourself since you are your own best friend.
