SC S24W5: Anime.

Sincerely, Dear Steemit Community and Honourable Moderators @jesusnunez sir, I am truly happy and grateful to be participating in the fifth week of the 24th season of the Steemit Learning Challenge. Such initiatives are a wonderful opportunity for new and practising artists like us, where we can bring something from the world of imagination to reality with a touch of colour, line, and creativity.

This week's theme was "Anime", which itself is a global cultural expression. I decided to draw a different anime character under this theme. My attempt was to create a character who has conflict in his eyes, shadows on his face, and a kind of silent threat in his expression.

Materials Used

Materials	Description
Pencil	6B and regular HB drawing pencils – for sketching and shading
Pen	Black gel pen (for outlining) and green gel pen (for writing)
Eraser	Small watermelon-sized rubber – used for correcting mistakes
Scale	Blue 15 cm plastic scale – for drawing straight lines
Compass	Metal compass, pencil attached – for drawing circles

Step 1: Preparation for material selection

In this step, I arrange the necessary materials for drawing—such as scale, drawing pencils (6B and HB), gel pens, eraser, and compass. Choosing the right materials ensures the speed and quality of the work.

Step 2: Defining the facial structure and guidelines

I draw an oval for the head and create a vertical and horizontal guideline within it. This helps to keep the eyes, nose, and lips in place.

Step 3: Facial features and expressions

I highlight the character's expression by drawing the eyes and eyebrows. I create an enemy look by adding confidence to the eyes and a slight smile to the face.

Step 4: Hair structure and shading on the face

In this step, I draw the character's hair. The rebellious character emerges from the messy, sharp hairline. I add light shading below the neck to increase the depth of the face.

Step 5: Adding clothing

Here I have added a shirt and a t-shirt. I have added light shading to the collar and neck crease to bring reality to the clothing and make the character more complete.

Step 6: Final rendering and proof of my own drawing

In the last step, I do some final shading in some parts. I have attached a picture of myself drawing it, which confirms the authenticity of my work.

Final Image Description

I have shaded the shirt and pants in the final sketch and added "SC S24W5: Anime" and my username "@imranhassan" below the picture as per the community guidelines.

Conclusion

Through this competition I have gained experience in creating an anime character step by step. I have put my attention and love into every line and shading. Through this work I have got an opportunity to express my creativity.
