How are you all? I hope you are well. By the grace of God, I am also well today. I have come to share with you Steemit Challenge Season 27 Week 01 – Homemade Tomato and Garlic Ketchup. Thank you, @afzalqamar sir, for launching such a beautiful tomato ketchup recipe contest and for including us all in its taste and serving.

I have never cooked it before, but my wife said that she had cooked it for someone else before, but it has never been made in our house. Through the contest I tried how to make it, and with every process, @afzalqamar sir. You showed me, and I made tomato ketchup step by step, and my four-year-old daughter also helped me.

01 homemade herbal ketchup with garlic. Share the complete process step by step. Finally share the handwritten username and date with the ketchup.

First of all, I took all the ingredients to make tomato ketchup. Such as five pieces of tomato, sugar, salt, dry chilli, white vinegar and a whole piece of garlic.

Then I put the pot on the stove, cut the tomatoes into pieces and let them boil there with a cup of hot water. Then after it was half-cooked, I spread the garlic pieces on top of the tomatoes.

Then I didn't have chilli powder; I used dried chillies here, and after a while with garlic, I spread the dried chillies with the boiled tomatoes. And after a while, when my tomatoes, garlic and chillies were boiled, I took them down and put them in a bowl.

Then I took the grinder machine to paste the tomatoes, garlic, and chillies. My daughter Asha was with me at work; she was watching me how to make it because she was waiting to eat. Then after pasting the ingredients, I put them in a bowl again.

I used a strainer to filter the tomato, garlic and dried chilli pastes. And I rubbed them with the help of my hands and filtered them, and the tomato and chilli grains were there, which I threw away. Then you can see in the bowl now that it looks very attractive after filtering.

After filtering, I again put the paste of tomatoes in another hot bowl and again in the oven. Then there is a quantity of half a spoon of salt, three spoons of sugar, and two spoons of white vinegar, and it is cooked for a while, and then when the water dries up, I prepare it for serving.

Mashallah, the latest tomato ketchup. I served it in a pot, and it looks very attractive and tempting. I tasted it, and it feels very good. And after serving with my cooking work, I took a picture with the contest tag and my username and the time period.

02 Did you have any difficulty in making ketchup at home?

I had no difficulty in making patchal at home. I had all the ingredients. But one ingredient I didn't have was chilli powder. So I used dried chilli powder in moderation here.

03 What would you say about the taste and freshness of your homemade ketchup compared to the market ketchup?

I found homemade ketchup to be much better than the market ketchup. Since it is homemade, it is free from adulteration, and there is no health risk. My daughter liked it very much and I gave it to her with fried potatoes, and she ate it with fried potatoes. And I also tasted it and I found it to be a new taste for me.
