Eid Mubarak to all the admins, moderators, and user friends of the Steem for Bangladesh community. I hope that everyone is spending Eid with their loved ones. Eid means joy. Eid means happiness. The joy and happiness of Eid increases manifold on Eid ul Fitr. Because after a long month of restraint, sacrifice, and fasting, Muslims celebrate this day with great joy. Bangladesh is a Muslim-majority country, and Eid ul Fitr is one of the biggest annual festivals. Nevertheless, every person in the country, regardless of race, caste, or religion, joins in this joy of Eid. Everyone has a smile on their face. Forgetting all the sorrows and hardships, at least on the day of Eid, everyone is happy to the best of their ability. On the occasion of Eid, @solaymann brother has organized a wonderful competition in the Steem for Bangladesh community. The name of the competition is: Contest: My Best Moment of Eid. How was your preparation for Eid?

Alhamdulillah, my Eid preparations were as beautiful as ever. I bought new Eid clothes for my entire family. I love shopping for my family on the occasion of Eid. There is no greater feeling of joy than celebrating Eid with my entire family after fasting for a month. The thought of everyone coming together in one place to share the joy of Eid doubles the joy. As a special preparation for Eid, I stayed up all night to apply henna on my hands. In my busy daily life, I never get to apply henna on my hands, but the joy of applying henna on my hands on the night before Eid is different. Overall, the Eid preparations were amazing.

How was your fashion outfit on Eid? Share your feelings about your fashion outfit.

My fashion outfit on Eid was a sari given by a loved one. I am not used to wearing sarees, but I do not make a mistake in wearing the traditional Bengali dress, sarees, on any festive occasion. There is a proverb that a woman is beautiful in a sari. I enjoyed the beautiful moment of Eid by wearing the saree of my husband's choice. I liked the Eid gift given by my beloved. My husband was very happy. I also spent a beautiful time with my family on this joyful day.

What are your favorite foods for Eid? How do they taste and feel?

The traditional food of Eid ul Fitr is semai. On Eid, the morning starts with the sweet taste of semai. We have a long tradition of going to prayer with semai in our mouths in the morning. No matter what the korma pola or meat is, Eid is not complete in a Bengali home without semai with almonds and sugar. Be it dry zarda semai or lachcha semai soaked in milk and fried in ghee—no matter what it is, I want semai on Eid. Among the desserts, semai is one of my favorite foods. The taste of semai soaked in milk with almonds is like a lingering taste in the mouth. Everyone in my family, young and old, likes semai soaked in milk.

Eid means arranging some special food. Every household tries its best to make this Eid special. For lunch, my mother-in-law cooked polao, beef, duck meat, fried eggplant, fried potatoes, etc. All the food was quite delicious. After lunch, there was yogurt and cold drinks. Enjoying the joy of Eid with family is a different kind of fun.

Did you travel anywhere during Eid? If yes, tell us about your travel moments.

Yes, I traveled with my family during Eid. Eid means traveling. I went to the weaving and textile industry fair celebrated in the Nagar Bhaban area of Rajshahi with my husband and children. I visited various stalls at the fair and bought some toys for the children. There were rides for the children at the fair, and my children had a lot of fun playing on those rides. After leaving the fair, we went to the Rajshahi College premises, the attraction of our Rajshahi city. The entire college was decorated grandly. My son was running around the college premises. The petunia flowers in the flower pots were very wonderful to see. I also felt very happy to see my son's joy. After spending some time on the Rajshahi College premises, we went to eat the traditional chicken meat stew and hot paratha of Lakshmipur.

After placing our order, we ate lasci. The spicy food of these roadside stalls is very delicious. To make a beautiful day like Eid more special, many people gather at these stalls. We finished our meal and went home. Alhamdulillah, we were able to enjoy this beautiful day of Eid with all our family and relatives. I am very grateful to Allah. I hope everyone enjoyed the joy of Eid with their families in good health, may Allah Hafez.
