So today was a special day to spend some time among relatives with all the family in organizing various engagements, shopping and iftar.

Morning time

In the month of Ramadan, since there is no trouble eating and drinking in the morning, I wake up a little late..After doing some household chores in the house, I got busy with some sewing today. Because Eid was near so there was some fabric stitching work left that I had to finish today. So I sewed a salwar suit. And after sewing it, I finished the work that Kamiz had to sew by hand with needle thread around his neck and the salwar kameez suit was made.

I have some more time left so I separated the pillow cover cloth from the bedsheet cloth to make two pillow covers and cut the cloth according to the size of the pillow cover and then I sewed the green pillow cover.

iftar timing

After finishing the sewing work, I covered the sewing machine well. Then I finished the afternoon prayer with a shower. And sat for a while and discussed because today we had an iftar party at my nuns' house. So I took some preparation to attend the iftar party today with the whole family. Ready to go from Uttara to Banani Dhaka North City Corporation Officers Quarter.

We have a tradition on our side that is to take some sweets when visiting relatives' houses, so I and my husband came together to Noni Sweets located in the Uttara house building, bought some sweets from there. Iftar is one more hour away, the road is quite traffic jam and the traffic of people is very high, I and my husband hurriedly hired an auto CNG.Crossing the airport when we moved towards Khilkhet there was quite a traffic jam so our Maghrib call to prayer fell on reaching Banani.

It was two to three minutes late, I rushed to my nuns' house to break the fast and was in such a hurry that I couldn't capture the pictures of the Iftar event anymore. Meanwhile everyone had finished eating iftar and was keeping everything sorted. The iftar consisted of Eggplant chop, egg potato chop ,dalbara, gelebi and a variety of foods along with lemon juice.

Dinner was arranged for us at night after Iftar. All the relatives were sitting together and gossiping a little, some are busy with photo shoots, some are busy with mobile phones. We finished dinner and went out saying goodbye to everyone as brothers and meanwhile seeing a kitten my son and my nephew are busy caressing. Then we called Uber and moved from Banani to Paulwell Super Market in Dhaka Paltan.
We will do some shopping for two guys.
