Final Cricket Tournament - 2025
The final of the eight-team game organized by Madhabadi Krira Sangha under the initiative of Late Abdul Karim Pradhan Smriti Foundation was held today. Earlier, the semi-final game was held.
As usual, I woke up at the time of Fajr Azan, offered Fajr prayers with the madrasa students, joined them in the prayer, and went to the field for practice with the school team as usual. I returned at 7:30 in the morning, had a light breakfast, and joined the spoken English class at 8:00. The final game was supposed to start at 3:00 in the afternoon. I was invited to the final game as a guest.
I spent time at school until 10:30 in the morning.
I had some important work outside, so I left, after finishing work, I returned home at 1:00 in the afternoon. I took a bath, prayed, finished eating and drinking. Then I left to participate in the game invitation.
Within 15 minutes, I reached the SP High School field premises. The presence of spectators was noticeable. When I reached the stage, the game president received me and took me to the stage with a microphone and announced. In a while, the chief guest, special guest and other guests arrived. The game was declared auspicious. With loud bangs, fireworks, and torches, it was decided to bat and bowl.
The chief guest, special guest, and guests including the game committee appeared in the middle of the field, shook hands with all the players, and announced the opening by giving some opening instructions. The president of the game committee and the chief guest inaugurated the game. There was great excitement between the two teams about which team would bowl. There was a large crowd of spectators for both teams. In a while, the field was filled to the brim with spectators. The field including the stage became lively with the excellent narration of the commentator. The commentary was narrated in both English and Bengali.
As a prize, two large LED TVs, 32 inches and 26 inches, appeared on the table in front of the guests. In the meantime, several types of fruits and nuts were brought to the stage for the guests.
Mango, lotus and guava. The applause of the audience along with the hits of the sixes and sixes further increased the attraction. Just like bowling, batting was equally equal. The teams presented a highly competitive match. Their extraordinary skills were increasing the excitement of the audience.
The referee gave a break for 10 minutes. After the break, the game resumed and continued until half an hour before Maghrib prayers. The game ended with great enthusiasm and celebration. Now it was time for the prize distribution. All the players came to the stage along with the audience to receive the prizes. The slogans and slogans of the winning team were being chanted. The sound of the commentator's microphone was fading away due to the sound of the slogans.
The winning team received the prizes from the hands of the chief guest, special guest and guests. The prize for the losing team was a 26-inch LED TV. In addition, there was a courtesy prize of a mahogany tree for each player. The players were shaking hands with the guests, each holding their prize. At the end, the players had a photo session with the guests, including the game management committee, along with all the players. By then, the sound of the Maghrib call to prayer reached our ears. The president declared the end of the game.
I returned home after offering Maghrib prayers at the Bazar Baro Mosque. I have ended today's story here. See you again, InshaAllah, another time, with a different background, with a different topic. Until then, you all will be well. Pray. Assalamu Alaikum.
