Electrical Tutorial: Electric Home Appliance Blender Repair.
Steemian Friends,
Today, I will show you how to repair a blender. My office and Steemian friend @ azit1980 brought a blender machine from his brother to the office for repair. I am an electrical engineer, so I try to repair blender machines. I have shared the method for repairing a 220-volt blender machine below.
I want to identify the issue with the blender machine. The switch on the blender machine is not working. The switch was variable. The switch works in three steps. I first realised that the switch of the blender machine was broken, so I opened the locks below the blender machine with a star screwdriver to open the switch.

Then, I separate the switch from inside the blender machine. I separate the three points from the switch. Since I confirmed that the switch is broken, I tried to check the motor of the blender machine. I separate the cables from the switch and keep them carefully so that there is no shock circuit.

Then I have my series board. I did not measure with a multimeter because the motor wire of the blender machine is thin and delicate. Such machines can be checked with a series board to get good results.
Then, I check the series board by connecting the red and black wires. As soon as I give power to the series board, the blender machine starts rotating. Then I am sure that only the switch of the blender machine is broken. Since the motor of the blender machine is functioning correctly, the switch opens, and I sent it to the market to purchase as a sample.

The same rating and three-way switch were not available in the market. I completed the blender machine repair by installing a three-way switch from another model. I have given a video tutorial on blender machine repair below, which can be understood more clearly.

The steps of repairing the blender is well explained in this content, Electrical Engineering is like being a Doctor. And it requires poeple with a kind heart, it requires patience to trace the fault, where things is wrong in the body of a machine or human body, first you carefully open it to avoid other damage you kept it in a safe place, and make the test to detect the fault and you finally fixed it, despite is not the same switch but you made it come back to life and is now put to use. Congratulations oon your expertise
Thanks Dear....
Is it worth repairing small kitchen appliances like blenders if they stop working? How do you know whether to fix or toss, especially when replacement parts seem hard to find?
A few months ago, my blender stopped blending completely no power, no motor noise. Rather than junk it, I looked into repair first. That’s when I found a local appliance repair service that handles small appliances with real skill. The technician diagnosed a damaged capacitor, swapped in a compatible replacement, and tested the whole unit all within a short visit. The cost was just a fraction of buying a new blender, and it runs as good as new. Good repair options like that make you rethink tossing gear that’s otherwise perfectly fine.
