Metro rail station, Motijheel
Steemian Friends,
Today, I will review our country's Metro rail station, Motijheel. Dhaka Match Transit Company operates Metro Rail. Dhaka Metro Rail has 16 stations. The first station is Motijheel, and the last station is Uttara. I will review the Motijheel station through the Steem-atlas map.
I am standing at Motijheel Metrorail station.
Motijheel is the busiest place in Dhaka, the capital of our country. There is a lot of traffic jams in the capital, Dhaka, so to move quickly, the metro rail was launched on December 28, 2022. Motijheel station can be entered from both sides of the road. The metro rail runs on an elevated highway, so there are moving and walking stairs at the metro station. I first reached the station on foot. Then I buy a ticket from the ticket counter.
Escalator at the metro station
Metrorail leaves from Motijheel every eight minutes. You can travel by metro very easily using Rapid Pass. I travel by purchasing a ticket from the counter. After buying a ticket from the counter, you have to enter the Metrorail platform on the third floor. On the second floor, you enter the ticket online card and are allowed to enter. Then you have to enter the third floor by elevator or escalator.

Metrorail platforms and travel tickets
As soon as the metrorail stops at Motijheel station on the third floor, passengers get off. There is a separate compartment for women in the MetroRail. There are direction symbols at each station. Passengers can easily travel by looking at the directions. Since the metrorail was launched, the communication system in the capital city of Dhaka has become easier. Since there are a lot of passengers on the Metrorail, many passengers stand.

A Metrorail ride will cost (20-100) Taka or (1.2-6.2) Steem. The price list for each station is given on the Metrorail platform. Passengers are prohibited from carrying food and heavy items while travelling on the Metrorail. There are CCTV cameras, police stations and Ansars as security at the Metrorail stations.

Metrorail operates from 7:10 am to 9:00 pm for the convenience of office passengers. You can buy tickets from Motijheel station and travel comfortably sitting in a seat. Metrorail is mainly powered by electricity, so high voltage symbols are given at the electric stations. There is also a communication data centre.
Many passengers travel standing on the metro rail.
It takes thirty-one minutes to travel 20 kilometres from Motijheel to Uttara by metro. The busiest offices in the capital, Dhaka, are located in Motijheel. The launch of the metro has made it easier to come to Motijheel from a distance to work in the office. A speaker inside the metro announces the arrival of each station. Information and directions are provided in Bengali and English at the metro station. I travelled by metro from Motijheel to Agargaon. When I reached Agargaon station, I was allowed to leave the station after submitting the ticket online in the box.

At the beginning, I would like to thank you for sharing your Metrorail journey with us. And for beautifully capturing the stills of your journey and presenting them to us. Metrorail has really made our journey easier. It is possible to run from one end of the busiest city, the capital, to the other in a short time. I thank the government of Bangladesh for this.
