Hello my dear steemit friends. How are you all? I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. Alhamdulillah, I am also well with your prayers and love. I am here with a new recipe post again, welcome to my new post, I hope you will like my post.Since it is the rainy season and it is pouring rain all around, one of the favorite foods of all Bengalis on these rainy days is Khichuri.So today I have prepared everyone's favorite delicious bhuna chicken khichdi recipe.This is a favorite dish of all Bengalis. I cooked this delicious khichuri today using ingredients I had at home. It was very delicious to eat and I am sharing with you the step-by-step process of cooking my chicken bhunakhichuri today. so let's start........

Everyone loves to eat khichdi on a rainy day.Since it's pouring rain all around, one of our favorite dishes on this rainy day is khichuri.And if it's fried chicken bhuna khichuri, then there's no point in talking about it.Having khichuri on a rainy day makes the day even more beautiful.So today, on a rainy day, I really wanted to eat khichuri, so I made this delicious chicken bhuna khichuri recipe with ingredients I had at home.It was very delicious to eat.Today I am sharing with you the step-by-step recipe for homemade chicken bhuna khichdi.Below is my presentation of each step....

  • First, I took a cup of moong dal and lightly fried the dal.Then I took one kilogram of rice and two cups of Lentils and mung beans and washed them thoroughly with clean water several times.I washed the rice and lentils thoroughly several times and drained the water.

  • Place a pan on the stove and add 2 tablespoons of soybean oil. When the oil is slightly hot, add the pre-cut potato pieces, one tablespoon of turmeric powder, and one tablespoon of salt.Mix all the ingredients well and fry the potatoes on medium heat for some time until they are well browned.Once the potatoes are fried, remove them from the oven and place them in a bowl.

  • I put a pan on the stove and added a cup of soybean oil to it. When the oil was slightly hot, I added a cup of chopped onions and fried the onions for some time.Then I added whole cumin seeds, cardamom, bay leaves, and cinnamon.I fried them for some time and then added ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, salt to taste, one tablespoon turmeric powder, and one tablespoon red chili powder.I have thoroughly mixed all the ingredients.

  • After grinding the spices well, add the pre-cut and cleaned chicken pieces and mix well with the spices.Then I added the pre-fried potato pieces to the meat and mixed all the ingredients together well.

  • After thoroughly mix the meat and potatoes, I poured the previously drained rice and lentils into the pot of meat.Then I fried the rice and dal with all the spices for some time and then added a cup of chopped tomatoes to the fried rice and dal.

  • Then after mixing all the ingredients, I added the whole garlic and then added four cups of water in a measuring cup.After adding water, I boiled all the ingredients for 20 minutes.

  • When the rice and dal are cooked well and the water in the khichdi has reduced a bit, I add ten whole green chilies inside.Then I let it sit for a while.After some time, I opened the lid of the khichdi pot, added a spoonful of ghee and mixed the khichdi well. Then I left it to simmer for some time.

  • Finally, my today's chicken bhuna khichuri is ready.Then I pour all the khichdi into a bowl.Then, to serve it beautifully, I arrange the khichdi in a round bowl and decorate it beautifully with tomatoes, lemons, and onions.And that's how I made today's bhuna khichdi recipe.
