The Diary Game (08 June 2025) Travel Day, Some Special Places In Mahera.

Assalamu Alaikum dear, Greetings to all from my motherland Bangladesh and a warm welcome to my blog for another session on the topic of my daily lifestyle content.

The day started with the name of the Creator. We gathered in the morning to start the journey. As planned, we went to the famous place in Mirzapur Upazila which is known as the Mahila Zamindar Bari. At the beginning, we went to the Police Training Center there. We took pictures in front of the parade ground there. The parade ground is specially used for the 'parade' and closing ceremony of the trainees, where they practice discipline, honor, initiation and marching.

The parade ground is located in the main courtyard of the training center where the trainees parade in an orderly line. It is believed that there are other buildings and departmental offices of the training center nearby, which are used for various social events.

The parade ground of the Police Training Center in Mahera serves as a central venue for uniformed parades and military-style training. It is an important area for developing discipline, pride and a sense of honor among the trainees. It has a large logo that reads Welcome to PTC.

From there we went straight to the pond of the Mahera Zamindar House. Although the water in the pond was low, it will fill up after a few days. Then we stood in front of a scene. This is the Mahera Zamindar House, a part of a historical and cultural monument of Tangail which is currently preserved as part of the Mahera Police Training Center (PTC). My uncle was sitting there and you can see the three beautiful Roman-style pillars seen in the picture, these are heritage pillars from the ancient era.

The pillar you can see in the picture is basically Corinthian style, which is made in imitation of Greek and Roman architecture. It is a sign of the influence of European style on the landlord culture of Bengal. Such ornate pillars express the beauty and splendor of the landlord's house. The landlords did not only rule, they were also the holders of beauty and artistic taste.

Since 1982, the Bangladesh Police has been conducting their training activities in the premises of this landlord's house. So it is now a unique combination of history and modern administrative activities. For example, there is a Rani Ghat next to it. The wives or queens of the kings used to bathe here, but now there is no water in this place, only grass.

It was noon there so I went to the big mosque nearby and prayed. After freshening up, we went back inside where there is a children's park. The children's park is very beautiful to look at and thousands of children are playing there.

This place is mainly made so beautiful for children. There are many entertainment facilities for them such as different types of sports cars, different toys, different animal statues. However, I noticed that there is a small train where children and their parents can travel on a train for some time. It looks exactly like a train.

This is a very beautiful place for children to have fun. Then suddenly I heard the calls of many animals and saw a small bamboo zoo. I went there and saw many types of birds and animals. I did not disturb them because the instruction board there said that animals should not be disturbed. I saw a peacock in a nearby place which was very beautiful to see. It was eating food as it pleased. It was a blue peacock which many people crowded to see.

We had fun with the bird for a while and then we went outside because we were hungry. There is a huge restaurant inside that area which serves some special fast food. Although the food is not as VIP as the food in the city, it is the best food to satisfy a light hunger. There were different types of food there, among which we chose Nimki, Samocha, Puri breads etc. These cost 1 STEEM approx per piece.

Then in the afternoon we went straight home from there. Then after freshening up, I prayed and played football with everyone in the afternoon. In this way, in the evening, I chatted with my cousin for a while. Then after praying and coming home, I got busy on the Steemit platform. Then I made a post on Atlas and after spending some time in this way, I sorted out all my work and went to bed and ended the day like today.
