The Diary Game (13 May 2025) - The mark of melancholy at the end of the day 🥲
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Dear friends, I hope everyone is well. I am also, Alhamdulillah, fine by the endless grace of Allah. There is a moment in the day that I enjoy, and that is in the morning, just like every day. Performing the Fajr prayer, reciting, and continuing in this way until eight in the morning. After having a light breakfast in the morning, I took a little sleep.
I woke up around 11:00 AM because I'm going to get a haircut today. So first, I freshened up and then put on a panjabi and pajama before heading out. After that, I took a rickshaw and reached there in about ten minutes. I entered the salon, and they styled my hair. After getting my hair cut, I took a selfie.
At the salon, the barber told me how I should cut my hair. I told him that since I want to keep longer hair like a lion, he should cut it that way. However, there's a story here. The barber said that if I want to grow my hair longer and if it falls to my shoulders, then we can style it. In that case, the cost would be a bit higher. So, I went along with that like a sheep.
Even though I don't really see much improvement or change because of that. My bill at the salon was about 400 Bangladeshi Taka, which is roughly 24. That seemed quite high to me. Anyway, after leaving there, I went straight to the market and entered a hotel to have a light snack. There, I had breakfast with small fish.
I sat in the hotel for a while and had breakfast, and then I stayed seated for some time and had tea. By then it was almost noon, around one o'clock. After sitting for a while, I paid the hotel bill. The hotel bill was about 170 Bangladeshi Taka, which has a steaming value of about 10 steem , so I paid the hotel owner his due bill and left the hotel.
Meanwhile, while walking, I went to a shop that was mainly selling various goods and cosmetics. I went there mainly to buy conditioner. I've been using conditioner on my hair for a long time, and it makes my hair very smooth and comfortable. I brought about twelve conditioners from here, and these are only 45 Taka according to the prices in Bangladesh, which has a steaming value of 3.5 steem
After finishing shopping like this and not delaying any further, I took another rickshaw and by the time I arrived, it was almost one o'clock in the afternoon. After reaching the madrasa, I first called everyone to wake them up because by then my students were sleeping. After that, I called them and prepared to take a shower. After finishing the shower,
I performed the Zhuhr prayer, then directly had lunch from there and rested for a while. After that, as usual, I sat in class. I was teaching in class when a little later, I received a call on my phone from my mother. What I heard was something I was not prepared to listen to. My sister's child had died in her womb. Hearing this left me speechless. 🥲
My sister is my only sister; I have no other sisters. She is my beloved sister and very dear to me. I have a nephew who is just 6 years old. However, after carrying him in her womb for nine months, she ultimately had to say goodbye to him in this world. Moreover, that child could not see the light of day. Yet, we saw him as gentle and beautiful. Anyway, without further delay, I informed Principal Sir and set off to go home.
Just before the Asr prayer, I finished my class and went straight out, taking a CNG. Without wasting any time in the CNG, I went directly to our local Sonamukhi market. Feeling quite hungry, I ate halim from a shop nearby in the market. After finishing my meal, I did not delay any further; I performed the Maghrib prayer and returned home.
After coming home, I first went to my sister and comforted her because she has suffered the most from this loss. She had this child in her womb for almost nine months during class time. So, wouldn't she be in pain? Although my eyes were also welling up with tears. Then I stayed in my room after leaving my sister's side, lying down with a heavy heart.
I took a photo of that newborn deceased child because it weighed on my conscience. Additionally, in our religion, taking photos in this way is considered haram. After that, we worked step by step to give the child a wash and we buried him underneath the soil. I shared with you the moments of my entire day. So, may everyone stay well and healthy. Allah Hafiz.
