Overview of Akhtaruzzaman Center

Akhtaruzzaman Center is located in Agrabad, the busiest commercial area of Chittagong. This shopping center has been operating quite a popular business since its establishment. I recently went to the center to buy some of my necessary items. I heard from a friend that export quality kitchen accessories items are available here. I went to Akhtaruzzaman Center for the first time.

First Impressions & Layout

Since it was my first time visiting this shopping center, I had no idea on which floor I would find the things I needed. The floor-based signboards in the shopping center helped me in this regard. This six-story shopping center has both elevator and escalator facilities.

Men’s Fashion & Accessories (3rd Floor)

First I went to the 3rd floor to see the gents items. This shopping center has a wide range of clothing for everyone from teenagers to adults. There are various types of clothing available including formal shirts, casual shirts, jeans pants, gabardine pants, t-shirts, polo. You can purchase the necessary clothing for the groom from here (sherwani, veil, crown).

Kids’ Toy, Clothing & Footwear

On the same floor, comfortable cotton clothes and party clothes for children are also available. Once the favorite clothes for the child are purchased, shoes for the little one can be found on this floor by matching that dress..

Women’s Clothing & Jewelry Collection

Fashion conscious women will find all the clothes according to their needs at this center. Starting from cotton sarees to various salwar kameez, kurtas, tops, there are various western clothes. Women of all ages can buy clothes of their choice from here. Along with clothes, women can buy their cosmetics, golden jewelry items from here.

Kitchen Accessories & Home Décor (5th Floor)

On the fifth floor, there are various kitchen accessories that housewives like. Various types of showpieces, wallmats, watches, ceramic items are available for decorating the house. Which will enhance the beauty of the house.

Different brands of mobile phones (Android, button) are available in this center, as well as mobile servicing and mobile repair shops are available here.

Food Court Experience

This shopping center has a large food court. Where you can sit and rest for a while if you are tired after shopping. You can enjoy food while chatting with friends.

My observation

If the crockery item shops were a little better decorated. Then the interest of the customers to buy crockery would have increased. I think the customers would have found the item they needed very quickly.

I found the food prices at the foot court to be relatively high compared to other places. The price of a plate of fuchka is 120 taka which is high compared to the quality and quantity.

Here you will get everything you need under one roof, saving you both time and trouble.
