Assalamu Alaikum friends, I hope you all are well. After a long Eid holiday, workplaces have finally started to reopen. Although our office was supposed to open on Saturday, it didn't due to some reasons. On Sunday morning, I woke up, freshened up, and had my breakfast.

For a long time, I felt a bit lazy about going to my office desk, but I couldn't just sit idle. So, I arrived at my office desk punctually around 10 AM and started working on some ship data that was required.

I worked continuously until noon without any breaks. Since it's my own desk, I have complete freedom here. After that, I returned home and performed my noon prayer. Then I had my lunch and tried to rest for some time.

The afternoon was free, and I had already planned to go out with two friends from my area. Our destination was Bashbaria Sea Beach to spend the afternoon. Around 4:30 PM, we reached the beach area on our bikes.

The view of the sea shore in the afternoon from where we sat

There was still plenty of sunlight, so instead of going directly to the shore, we sat under a Kerfa tree for shade, from where the sea was clearly visible. The Kerfa trees looked very beautiful and were quite tall. We chatted for a good while in the shade.

Where we were sitting, there were small food stalls selling regular food items. First, we ordered Jhalmuri, which was a bit spicy but tasted really good. As it was getting late in the afternoon, we ordered three cups of colorful tea along with slide bread.

Jhalmuri, per plate 40 Taka = 2.59 STEEM

Slide Bread, each 15 Taka = 0.97 STEEM

Herbal Tea, each 10 Taka = 0.64 STEEM

I first opened the bread packet and tried it; I really liked its taste. Then, while drinking tea, I enjoyed the magnificent beauty of the sea from a distance. Our total food bill was 140 Taka/9.07 STEEM, which I paid.

There was still some afternoon left, and right next to us was the ferry terminal. The ferry terminal was inaugurated recently, which helps people living on Sandwip Island travel to and from Chittagong. We noticed that the ferry was at the ghat, so we entered it.

The main area on the ferry where vehicles are kept for transit

This was my first time boarding that ferry. The best part is that a very nominal fare has been set for human travel, but there are specific fares for vehicle transportation. I have a strong desire to visit Sandwip Island by this ferry.

After some time, we got off the ferry and went towards the beach. It was almost evening, but since the sky was cloudy that day, we couldn't enjoy the sunset properly. I mostly visit sea beaches to watch the sunset.

Anyway, after evening, it was almost dark, and it was drizzling, so we didn't delay any further and left the beach area and headed home. After returning home and freshening up, I performed my night prayer. Then, after finishing dinner, I prepared to sleep.

Haha. That's a very funny saying . Going back to work after a long holiday feels like a battle against our own mind. But once we focus on the work, all the inertia disappears. Have a good day, friend.

Hello brother, how are you? Thank you so much for such a beautiful post. Your photography was really amazing and admirable. And you shared the pictures of jhalmuri and coffee with us. The combination of the two foods makes for a really wonderful conversation. Stay well.
