What is your country's National Animal?

I am a citizen of Bangladesh, there are many types of animals in our country, but among all these animals, we have a national animal called the Royal Bengal Tiger. One of the mammals among the various species of wildlife in our country is the tiger, the Royal Bengal Tiger carries the identity of Bangladesh all over the world.

Can you describe one characteristic that makes your country's national animal special?

One of the characteristics that makes our country's national animal special is its skin color, which is very attractive to look at. The skin color of the Royal Bengal Tiger ranges from yellow to reddish yellow and has long black stripes, these stripes are more towards the back. Its belly is white, its yellow tail has many black striped spots and the tip of the tail is black. The back of the ears is black, with a clear white spot on it.

Once, the Royal Bengal Tiger was found in all the forests of Bangladesh, but now it is found only in the mangrove forests of the Sundarbans, where it lives. The Royal Bengal Tiger of Bangladesh can easily adapt to the hot climate, but currently, due to deforestation, lack of food, illegal hunting and environmental degradation, this species has become endangered. Among all the wild animals of Bangladesh, the Royal Bengal Tiger is the most important, this animal is a symbol of our strength and beauty.

Have you ever seen your country's national animal in real life? If so, where?

Yes, I have seen my country's national animal, the Royal Bengal Tiger, in real life once. I was lucky enough to see the Royal Bengal Tiger when I went to the zoo with my family when I was young. The Royal Bengal Tiger of our country usually lives in the Sundarbans but this animal is almost endangered so the government of our country is keeping some tigers in the zoo and taking care of them so that its number can be increased through breeding of this animal and it can be saved from extinction in our country. That is why I found this animal in the zoo, that was the only time I was lucky enough to see this animal.
