Assalamu Alaikum Everyone. I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah, I am also well Alhamdulillah. Today I have come to participate in the first week of the steemit challenge SLC27-W1// Homemade Tomato and Garlic Ketchup organized by the honorable teacher @afzalqamar sir. I am happy to participate in this wonderful challenge.

✅Prepare Homemade Herbal Ketchup with Garlic. Share complete step by step process. At the end share the handwritten username and date with Ketchup.
Ingredients | Quantity |
Tomato | 2 piece |
Garlic cloves | 3 piece |
Sugar | 2 teaspoon |
Chili powder | 1 teaspoon |
Vinegar | 1 teaspoon |
& Salf | Amount of |
Step - 1
First, I will wash the tomatoes and garlic cloves well. Then I will cut the tomatoes and garlic cloves into small pieces.
Step - 2
Now I will put a pan on the stove and add the chopped tomatoes and add a cup of water to it so that the tomatoes are cooked well. After adding water, I will cover the pan with a lid for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, I will add the chopped garlic inside the tomatoes and cook it well again.
Step - 3
Once it is cooked well, I will take them in a blender jar, then blend them well. Once it is blended well, I will strain the tomato and garlic paste into a clean container.
Step - 4
Now I will put the tomato paste in the stove and add chili powder, sugar and salt to taste. Then add 1 teaspoon of vinegar to it and mix well. While mixing everything, the stove must be on low heat. Once mixed, turn the stove on medium heat and stir the tomato sauce continuously so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. When the tomato paste becomes thick while stirring, remove it from the stove.
Step - 5
This is how our homemade tomato and garlic ketchup will be made very easily. Finally, I will serve the ketchup in a clean container, along with a note with my name written on it.

✅Did you face any difficulty in the preparation of the ketchup at home? |
To be honest, I did not face any difficulty in making this ketchup. Our respected teacher explained the entire recipe to us very nicely and said that making ketchup has become so much easier for us. I was just a little hesitant that I don't have grape or apple vinegar and it is not possible to get it in our area, due to which my recipe is wrong. But our respected teacher has very nicely said in the comment that if we don't have grape or apple vinegar, then we can use white vinegar. So it has been quite convenient for me and I have been able to make the ketchup very well. Another thing, today I made ketchup with only 2 tomatoes because since I have never made it before, I thought that I would make a small amount now and see if everything is fine, then I will make the ketchup with more tomatoes and store it. So today I used less tomatoes to make ketchup.

✅What do you say about the taste and freshness of the homemade ketchup which you have prepared as compared to the market ketchup? |
Today's homemade ketchup is quite different in taste and quality compared to the ketchup available in the market. Because the ketchups that are made in the market contain some ingredients that help in creating artificial flavors in the ketchup. Which is certainly quite harmful to us, but the ketchup that we make at home does not contain any artificial flavors or any ingredients that are harmful to our health. Homemade tomato ketchup has the real sweet-sour taste of tomatoes, which is very delicious to eat and its taste is very natural and rich. Market ketchups are relatively sweet, and their texture is also a little different.
Homemade ketchup can be made within 1 day and can be eaten immediately, so the fresh smell and color of the tomatoes are right. For long-term preservation of market ketchup, various types of chemical ingredients and colors are used in it, so the taste of fresh tomatoes is greatly reduced due to preservatives, along with its quality. And for all these reasons, homemade tomato ketchup is more acceptable and healthier for me.
