Homemade Tomato and Garlic Ketchup

How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today, I have come to participate in the first week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S27/W1, organized by the Honorable teacher @afzalqamar . He has brought us a delicious Tomato Ketchup, whose name is "Homemade Tomato and Garlic Ketchup". I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

The honorable teacher, @afzalqamar, has presented us with a wonderful challenge. Homemade Tomato and Garlic Ketchup. This is a healthy item. Both tomatoes and garlic are essential ingredients for our good health. I am going to make Tomato and Garlic Ketchup according to the instructions of Honorable teacher @afzalqamar. Before starting to make ketchup, I will introduce its ingredients.
Ingredients for making Ketchup :-

🍅Step:-01:-
- At the beginning of making ketchup, I combine all the ingredients. Then I wash the tomatoes with clean water. This will clean any dirt or debris on the tomatoes.
- Then cut the tomatoes into small pieces and put them in a bowl.
- To make garlic ketchup, I put garlic salt, sugar, tomatoes, and
- Now put the tomatoes in a pan to boil.
- I add half a cup of water to the pan.

- I now add 6 pieces of garlic to the pan. And I shake the tomatoes and garlic in the pan and cover it with a lid. It should be covered in such a way that the heat inside cannot escape. This will cook the tomatoes and garlic quickly.

- When the tomatoes are cooked, I take a blender, put the cooked tomatoes in the blender, and blend well.

- Now I take a strainer and strain the blended tomatoes. Due to the strainer, the tomato skins and seeds will be separated. My original ketchup will contain fresh tomatoes.

- After straining through a sieve, I place the tomato mold in a pan.
- Now I add salt as much as I need and put into the pan. But I only have one spoon of salt.

- Now I add half a spoon of chili powder inside the tomato mold. I have added less chili so that it is not too spicy, because if it is spicy, my children will not be able to eat it.

- Now I also add half a cup of sugar with the help of my measuring cup. And I mix all the items and keep stirring them on low heat.

- Now I add half a cup of white vinegar to the ketchup with the help of the measuring cup. Now I keep stirring the tomato mold constantly so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan or burn anywhere.
- After stirring it like this for some time (approximately 10-15), when the mixture thickens, I put it down. - - At this time, a beautiful smell comes out of the ketchup mold, which I can understand by seeing that my ketchup has become quite tasty.
- I take the pan off the stove and let it cool.

- When the ketchup cools down, I take it in a bowl to show my Steemit friends.

- I made the ketchup for the Steemit Challenge. So I write the name of the challenge on a piece of paper and present it.

- I want to store the ketchup for a long time, so I arrange a food-grade jar, wash it well and let it dry, and then pour the ketchup inside the jar.

I faced some difficulties while making ketchup at home. I got almost all the ingredients mentioned by the respected teacher @afzalqamar for making ketchup, but I could not find the grape vinegar. I wanted to use the same ingredients that the teacher used to make ketchup. But unfortunately, I was unable to manage the grape vinegar. At this time, I was a little worried; the alternative was to use white vinegar, but I was also confused about whether it would be right to use it.
Finally, the respected teacher @afzalqamar himself solved that problem; he assured me to use white vinegar as an alternative. I am sure that I will make delicious ketchup. The ketchup I made turned out to be delicious. My children also liked it a lot.

What would you say about the taste and freshness of your homemade ketchup compared to the market ketchup?
A very timely question. Tomato ketchup is always at home; there is no substitute for ketchup for various snacks. Most of the time, it is bought from the store, and when the tomato season starts, I make it at home. Therefore, I have an idea about the taste of homemade ketchup and ketchup bought from the market.
If I were to compare the taste and freshness, I would say without hesitation that I find the ketchup bought from the market more delicious. Maybe various artificial items are added for taste, which is why the taste is more; it does not mean that homemade ketchup is not delicious, it is also very tasty. But comparatively, the market is more delicious.
If we talk about freshness, then I will say that homemade ketchup is fresh, because in homemade ketchup, each item is purchased after seeing and hearing it. That is why every item is purchased here with health in mind. In addition, no chemicals are used in homemade ketchup.
On the other hand, there is doubt about how many pure items are given in ketchup bought from the market. So, at first glance, I cannot call the ketchup from the market pure,
Therefore, even though the test is slightly lower, I am maintaining my opinion that homemade ketchup is 100% healthy.
