The Diary Game (04-06-2025) : Before the Eid Holidays, I went to the Doctor for a Health Checkup and Purchased Medicine.

Assalamu Alaikum everyone. I left again with another one of my daily diary entries. Today was my health check-up day. From today, their holiday will start in all places of Bangladesh. Anyway, I had a doctor's appointment earlier today. Now I have to go every week due to health problems. Today I will share with you how I spent my day today.

Today was my office day but I will not go to the office today. Because I had taken leave in advance. I got up in the morning and did my daily work. Then at eight o'clock in the morning I called the number of the hospital and took the doctor's appointment. My serial number was number five. Due to the approaching of this time, the number of patients is very low, so I got my serial much earlier. Then I had breakfast. Today I had a light breakfast. Only bread and eggs.

Then I left for the hospital in the afternoon after having lunch. The hospital is a 10-minute walk from my house. So it didn't take much time to go. I came to the hospital with a rickshaw. Then I went to the doctor's chamber by taking the elevator. After that I came to the reception. Where I had to get the receipt for the money. That is, the doctor's visit. The doctor's visit was 1000/- taka.

After getting the doctor's visit slip, I gave it to the doctor's assistant. He took it and deposited it. I sat on a chair aside and started waiting. The doctor had not yet come to the chamber. In the meantime, many patients had come and waited like me. In addition to seeing a doctor in this hospital, many tests can be done where all patients get a 25% discount. I also get tested in this hospital.

After waiting for some time I was called to the doctor's chamber. First, the physician's assistant checked my weight and blood pressure. But the sad thing is that my blood pressure is not under control till now. My blood pressure is not coming under control even after I take regular medicine and adequate rest. The doctor was very concerned about this. Because in such a situation, keeping blood pressure under control is very good for my health.

Then the lady called me to the doctor. Due to my deteriorating physical condition, she informed me about several health risks. She prescribed me several medicines. Then she asked me to lie on the bed. I lay on the patient's bed as she said. Then she did all the checkups on me. Then she suggested me to take complete bed rest and increase more protein in my diet. For example, I asked me to eat chicken breast soup, egg whites.

Then the doctor gave me his phone number. And said that I should check my blood pressure every day and after exactly three days from today I should check my blood pressure on his number and let him know if my blood pressure is coming under control. And along with that asked me to get a maternity card in a government hospital in Bangladesh for emergency. So that I can use it when necessary. And in the next checkup, he advised me to get some blood tests done. He asked to come back for a checkup after a week with him. Thus, I said goodbye to him and left. Meanwhile it was almost evening. Today, the doctor had given me a lot of medicine. I thought that their vacation would start from this, so it is better to buy the medicines before going home.

Then after leaving the hospital I went to a medicine shop near my house. From there I purchase all the medicines prescribed by the doctor. It was almost nine o'clock at night. Because the pharmacy store was very crowded with customers due to which I was late. Then I purchased all the medicine I needed. I have presented below how much I have spent on medicine:

After buying the medicine and coming home, I was very tired. After that I freshen up and have dinner. In the meantime, I talked to my father about today's checkup. My family was very worried about me. All of them wished me well and advised me to rest. Then I took the night medicines as per the doctor's prescription. Then I took out an Islamic book called “Shamaeel Tirmidhi”. To calm my mind I read the book for a while before going to sleep. Then I felt very sleepy and thanked Allah and went to sleep.
