How are you all? Hope everyone is doing well. Today I will participate in SFB Atlas #15 ; Pin Your Recent Place. Thanks a lot to @solaymann brother for such an amazing contest.Today I'll describe Bangladesh Rice Research Institute, Gazipur.Bangladesh Rice Research Institute is a leading research institution.It is headquartered in Gazipur.Bangladesh Rice Research Institute is a very beautiful and pleasant place.It feels like peace.This place looks very nice with all the different flowers around.Moreover, the place is very clean.BRRI's job is to develop new rice varieties,development of farming technology etc.It is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Agriculture.It was established on October 1, 1970.Earlier, this institution was named East Pakistan Rice Research Institute.BRRI has developed more than 100 rice varieties so far.I was a student of BRRI High School.I studied at this school for 5 years.I suddenly went to BRRI to meet up with school friends.It costs 30 taka to go from the bus stand to the BRRI main gate by rickshaw.As soon as I got off the rickshaw, I saw the main gate.The gate was looking more beautiful than before.There is beautiful art on both sides of the gate.These make the gate look even more beautiful.

Then, after entering the gate and walking a little, there is a map of BRRI.Here is a glance of where everything at BRRI is located.Then we will see huge rice fields on both sides of the road. However, the field on the left is bigger than the one on the right.And a lot of information is provided on a board in front of the field.

And there is also a solar powered insect light trap in front of the field.Its function is to attract insects through its light.It runs on sunlight.This is important in fields like rice. And in front of it is the Freedom Fighter D. Zahirul Islam Training Complex Building.BRRI is beautifully written in front of the training complex building.The Rice Museum is located next to the Training Complex Building.This is the first rice museum in Bangladesh.This museum houses various types of modern and traditional agricultural equipment, rice varieties developed by BRRI, etc.This is very important for farmers.There is also information about various rice diseases and pests.

The road to the medical center has passed next to the training complex building.There are flowers and trees in a large area next to it.In front of it are Dormitory-1 and Dormitory-2.The two dormitories look very beautiful.It is surrounded by various flowers and trees.Which makes it look even more beautiful.If we walk a little further from here, we will see a very beautiful mosque.The mosque is very beautifully decorated.It looks even more beautiful because there are many stairs in it.

If you walk a little further, there are many houses together.This is the residential area of BRRI.Various officials and employees live in these buildings.There is a very beautiful fountain as you walk forward inside the main gate.This is a very beautiful fountain that looks like a rice paddy.When this fountain is on at night, it lights up with different colors, which looks amazing.There is also a very nice park here for children to play.Children come here to play. There are various types of toys here such as sleepers, swings, etc.

A little further from the park are the Rice Research Institute High School and BRRI Pragati Primary School.Bangladesh Rice Research Institute High School is located on a large area.There is a very large field in front of it.Various sports competitions of Bangladesh Rice Research Institute High School and BRRI Pragati Primary School are held in this field.Also, students always play sports here.There is a huge Shaheed Minar next to the school.Wreaths are placed at this Shaheed Minar on various occasions.

There is a huge pond behind the school.No one bathes in the pond nor is any fish farmed.However, there is a very nice sitting area in front of the pond. Students or other people come to this sitting area and sit and talk.There is a botanical garden in front of the pond behind the school.There are various types of trees in this garden.Students conduct various experiments with the trees here.

There is a huge canteen right in front of the school grounds.Various types of essential items are available in this canteen.In addition, food is also sold here.Students come to this canteen during tiffin time and buy their necessary items or food.

Besides, there is a very nice seating area next to the Shaheed Minar in one corner of the school grounds.Many people come and sit under this sitting area under the tree.Especially the guardians of the students sit here.As always, there were many Guardians sitting here today.A short walk ahead from the seating area is a park and a bungalow.The Bengali name is Rice House.This is basically the place of the DG of the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute.The bungalow looks really amazing.

Finally, there is a helipad at the Rice Research Institute. If any guests come here by helicopter, they land on this helipad.The helipad is surrounded by various flowers and trees, which looks amazing.The flowering trees make the helipad even more special.
