The name of the largest safari park in our country is Gazipur Safari Park. This park is built on 3690 acres of land. The park was established in 2013. It is under the jurisdiction of the Bangladesh Forest Department.

Natural

This park is located 3-4 kilometers west of Baghar Bazar in the Gazipur district. Since it is located on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway, it can be reached from any district by bus or train. The park is closed on Tuesdays, and the entry time is from 10 am to 5 pm.

Park entry Tickets (3.2 Steem)

This park has been set up in line with the South Asian model, especially Thailand's Safari World. The entry fee to the park is 50 taka for our country and 20 taka for those under 18 years of age, and 5 dollars for foreign citizens.

After entering the park, you can first see a beautiful environment decorated with natural plants. Inside the park, there are various types of wild animals, birds, etc., which are kept in separate places for viewing.

Inside the safari park, there are several mini buses in which wild animals can be seen in the open meadows, forests, and jungles. The park is very large, so it is a suitable place for wild animals, and they live in the forest. To go by car, you have to pay a ticket of 100 taka (6.4 Steem) per person, and you will be shown around by car for about 20 minutes.

Inside, there is a separate area for non-violent animals, where there are striped deer, big wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, etc., which can be seen in all corners of the forest. When you enter there, you see yourself as a prisoner and the animals are free, which is the opposite of what you usually see in a zoo, so the feeling of visiting this park is very much.

Also, there is a separate boundary between each animal inside where the wild animals are. Everyone is asked to be careful before the driver shows the wild animals, and bears and lions can be seen among the wild animals. The lions were sleeping, and when we entered the car, they were woken up, which made the lion a little angry, as can be seen in the picture.

*Apart from wild animals, other species of animals can be seen in this park, where the most beautiful animal of all, the peacock, has many peacocks. Some peacocks are flapping their wings there; this was one of the most beautiful scenes. There are peacocks resting in the trees among different types of trees, and some peacocks are roaming on the ground. To enter here, you have to buy a separate ticket for 20 taka (1.2 Steem).

Apart from this, several animals can be seen without tickets, including crocodiles, ostriches. Although we know that the largest bird is the ostrich, since this bird cannot fly, a separate round has been kept for it in the enclosure, where they runs from one side to the other from time to time.

Ride

People from far away come to this park with their families to spend time and travel. There is a beautiful car parking facility outside, but a separate charge is required for this. Usually, 400 taka is charged for a car and 100 taka for a bike.

There is a hanging bridge there to explore nature and make it a little different, where everyone can climb and enjoy nature. It is a bridge that flows over a pond. There are beautiful trees and shrubs in nature next to the pond. You have to buy a 10 taka (0.65 steem) ticket to enter there.

Apart from the bridge, there is also a bird fair. There are macaws and red and green parrots in one house, but you have to buy a separate ticket of 20 taka (1.2 steem) to see each bird. The macaw is quite large and beautiful to look at. There are 2-colored macaws that live on top of the house.

There is a separate area for children, and concrete dinosaurs and large crocodiles attract children more, so this park becomes a joy for everyone, young and old. There are various food shops outside the park, where shooting is clear, and these can be rented for a day.

Our country's traditional horse carriages can be seen there, and many different horses can be seen there, where many children can enjoy a great time riding horses.

In my opinion, this park is quite beautiful and has a joyful atmosphere among the parks in our country. Many schools come to this park on educational tours and show them a lot of things, and the students are very happy with it. The environment there is very good, and for security, there are CCTV cameras everywhere, and law enforcement officers are there.
