The Diary Game (7th June 2025) Eid al-Adha, The day of animal sacrifice.

All praise is due to Allah Almighty, who has given me the opportunity to spend a beautiful day.

The day was the holy day of Eid. I woke up early in the morning. The first thing I did after waking up was brush my teeth. After brushing my teeth, I went to the mosque to pray Fajr prayer at 4:30 in the morning. I went to the mosque and prayed the Fajr prayer. After praying Fajr, I returned home. When I got home, I rested for a while.

Then I had a light breakfast and prepared to offer Eid prayers. Eid Jamaat will be held at our mosque grounds at 8 am. Accordingly, I prepared to pray from 7:30 in the morning. Then I went to the mosque grounds to offer Eid prayers. We were all praying together that day,

Then I prayed Eid prayers together and returned home. When I got home, I ate dessert. The sweets prepared for Eid are pictured below.

This dessert is made with milk, rice, and sugar. It was made with a mixture of these three main products mentioned, as well as additional ingredients. It was very sweet and had a nectarine taste. I enjoyed the food quite happily. Anyway, after eating sweets and food, the main task of this Eid is to sacrifice animals.

Because animals are sacrificed on this Eid, it is declared as Eid al-Adha in Bangladesh. The Islamic name for this Eid is Eid ul Adha. Anyway, our sacrificial animal was ready. We took our sacrificial animal to the field. I had a high-quality Chinese knife in my hand, which would make it easier to skin meat and animals. Look at the knife in the picture below.

We chose a specific place to slaughter our animals. After slaughtering the animal, we had a system for draining the blood and waste. We dug small holes in the flat ground to slaughter animals.My cousin was active in digging holes. Anyway, the main reason for making a hole is to prevent the blood from spreading over a large area. Anyway, after digging the hole, our animal was sacrificed in the name of Allah.

We had many sharp knives to slaughter animals, and our sacrificial animals were slaughtered very easily. During the slaughter, the sacrifice was made in the name of Allah alone. We recited a prayer together loudly during the slaughter,

Allahu Akbar means, Allah is the greatest.

Finally, the slaughter of our sacrificial animal was completed. We were filled with gratitude to Allah and a sense of sacrificing this animal in the name of Allah. This sacrifice is to earn our forgiveness and piety from Allah. After slaughtering the animals, there was a very long process to process them. I was very focused on this work.

My uncle and cousins played a very active role with me. Anyway, after skinning the animal for slaughter, we separated the necessary parts of the animal. I was very attentive until I collected the meat from them and distributed it. Anyway, we had a mat, and on the mat, we started cutting the various parts of the slaughtered animal.

Anyway, it took about two hours to finish cutting the meat. About seven to eight people were very active in completing all the processes of our sacrificial animals. My father is my older brother and my uncle and cousin. We all tried to complete the work very quickly. Anyway, after cutting the meat into small pieces, half of it was distributed to our mosque committee.

Anyway, I did a lot of meat cutting. Cutting meat involved a lot of blood and small human parts on my hands. The animal blood had become rough on my hands. Because I had been cutting meat and separating bones from animals for a long time. Anyway, I was coming home after finishing the cutting process. On the way home, I captured a picture of my hand.

Anyway, after that I came home and rested for a while. Then I took another bath, because I had animal blood and fat on my body. Anyway, I finished my rest and took a bath. After finishing my bath, I went to the mosque to pray. After praying, I got busy distributing the meat. Many members of the mosque committee were present here and were busy distributing meat to everyone.

A lot of meat was gathered here. Half of the meat of all sacrificial animals was deposited here. These were then divided per capita. I noticed that there were 112 shares here. Each portion contained approximately two kilograms of meat. I took a photograph of the meat at the moment it was being divided.

When the meat was distributed, it was distributed to every home in the community. There was at least one representative present from every house in the community to collect the meat. Anyway, I finished distributing the meat and went home. I was very tired from all the day's work, the animal sacrifices, and the cutting and distributing of meat. So I spent the entire afternoon sleeping.

My greatest moments of joy on Eid were praying and sacrificing animals. It makes me more faithful and pious to Allah.
