Santahar Junction Railway Station ,Naogaon

The biggest and most famous railway station in the city is Naogaon Santahar Railway Station, which is the only railway station located in Naogaon city, and today I will discuss all the information about this railway station with my friends. The popular and oldest railway station in the new city is Shantahar Railway Station. In 1878, it had a line through the Kolkata division to Siliguri, and the other line was from the ferry to North Bengal. It takes about half an hour to go from Naogaon city to Santahar, and Santahar is located a little behind Naogaon city. Many passengers travel to this Santahar railway station every day.

About 15 to 20 intercity and about 7 to 10 mail trains depart here every day. The trains start in the morning and depart at different times, and the passengers carry various types of government furniture in these trains.

There is a large mosque next to the railway station where arriving passengers can offer prayers, and there are several hotels where passengers can use the rooms of these hotels for overnight stays when they come to this railway station at night.

However, there is no special police system here, due to which incidents like theft sometimes happen easily, and since the huge platform is empty here, poor people make arrangements to sleep here at night.

There is a big market next to the station, and there is a big library next to the station where there are different types of books, but all of them are from the past, and there is a big market where many things are bought every day.

Not only the railway station, Santahar is a tourist destination where, apart from the railway station, there are several other parks and special places, due to which Santahar has become a special place day by day.

Also, during the winter season, there are various types of shops and fruit shops where everything can be bought at affordable prices, and special types of winter clothes and blankets are brought from foreign countries at low prices and sold here, from where the lower and middle class people can easily buy those winter clothes.

There are several railway tracks between the railway stations, which are active and through which trains travel every day, but there are several inactive railway tracks where various types of damaged train carriages are located, and those railway tracks have become unusable due to their disrepair.

However, traveling by rail is much more convenient and comfortable than other modes of transportation, and there are also AC train compartments along with general train compartments, where we can easily get AC train compartments by increasing the price a little.

Due to the problems of buying tickets and other transportation options, people are increasingly turning to trains. Here, you can't wait too long and can easily buy train tickets. Also, people enjoy train travel a lot because the journey is very comfortable.

However, sometimes some accidents happen at railway stations which may be unexpected, but the railway authorities are not responsible for these. However, in the end, it can be said that the Santahar Railway Station has been formed with a very pleasant and beautiful environment, and the environmental conditions here are all favorable to the people. Everyone from the lower class to the upper class can travel on this train and can enjoy train travel.
