That’s why every country has their distinct animal that they draw their inspiration. Likewise every country, my country also have an animal which is like our national emblem. Care to know? let’s find it out together.
What is your country’s national animal? |

To mention a fact here, my country is named Nigeria. So, its national animal or emblem is the eagle. This bird is like the king of birds portraying the royalty and strength of my county. This bird can be signify as a complete bird in term of overall appearance and activities. When it concern the aspect of speed, the eagle move faster and swiftly than other birds making it a deadly predator. One thing that marvels me about this bird is that it refuse to compromise with storm as it glide majestically through it. I see why my country choose it to be the national animal.
Can you describe one characteristics that make your country national animal special |

Eagles have different characteristics but there is one that interest me and I’d like to share. It’s the ability to shed off old wings and grow a new and stronger one. This process might be scary to other birds but the eagle takes it upon itself to undergo this process. When the eagle realize that the current wings is weak and couldn’t support it, it will fly to a high mountain. While on the mountain, it will remove the old wings with its beak and at time slamming itself to the rock. When the old wing is shed off, it has to wait for new one to grow so that it can fly again. This characteristics makes it nearly impossible to defeat the eagle because of renewal.
Where is it found? |
---|
Eagle are animals who prefer natural environment to a manmade environment. So, it can be found in forest where tall trees are predominant or High Mountain. The fact is that eagle don’t prefer to host its habitat on a low ground, so high ground is a green flag to them. It’s rare to see them around area with little or no forest or high ground.
Have I seen it before? |

For me, I haven’t seen them before because my residence is in an area where most forest and thick bushes has been cut down. The result is the civilization into building, modernized roads and other works of civilization. I hope to go on hiking into a forest to experience this beauty of nature.

Exactly.....When I saw your first answer, I was like... Whizzbro4eva took the coat of arm personal. This animal is symbolic though and has symbolic meanings attached to our country, Nigeria. A lot can be said and you've given us an in-depth explanation. Best of luck.
I am taking it seriously as it is taking on us. The legends will understand it🤣. Am grateful for your valuable comment.
