Actsofkindness: Charity for orphans

Today is one of the most meaningful and happy days for me personally, because I can take part in social activities carried out by my village government, namely the distribution of assistance to orphans in our village. This activity is a real form of attention and concern from the village government towards the next generation who need support, both morally and materially.

This assistance is part of a village program funded by the 2025 village fund. This activity is not only carried out ceremonially in one place, but by directly visiting each orphan's house in our village. This is done so that our presence as village officials is truly felt close to the community, and can ensure that this assistance is right on target and received directly by those who are entitled.

Happiness was clearly visible on the faces of the children we visited, even though they were still small, teenagers and had lost one or both of their parents, but the warm welcome from them and their families strengthened our spirit in carrying out this activity. While handing over the donations, we also expressed our prayers and hopes that they would grow into strong, intelligent children and become the pride of the village in the future.

For me personally, this moment was very touching and left a deep impression. Seeing their condition firsthand reminded me to always be grateful for the blessings I have and to be more aware that sharing is one of the best ways to strengthen ties and create a more prosperous and caring village.

Hopefully this charity activity can become an annual routine that is better implemented from year to year. And most importantly, hopefully this assistance will really be beneficial for the orphans in our village, and become a field of charity and blessings for all parties involved in the process.
