Mobarakganj Sugar Mill Limited is a government-owned sugar mill in Kaliganj Upazila of Jhenaidah District, Bangladesh, operated under the Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation.And it is one of the major sugar mills in the country.It is the only heavy industrial enterprise in the southwestern region of Bangladesh.It was established in 1965.Many workers work in this industrial enterprise.Its sugarcane harvesting season is regularly inaugurated, which is very important for the country's agricultural and industrial sectors. Many small businesses are being operated around this industrial establishment.Such as various food shops, clothing stores, and daily necessities stores Workers usually buy their necessary products from these small shops to meet their needs.Today, as a journalist, I am visiting the shops set up next to this industrial establishment and talking to the small businesses and shopkeepers here and sharing their experiences.

Since there is a large sugar mill in my city, many small traders are running their businesses around this company.Since many workers work at the Mubarakganj Sugar Mill, considering their needs, many businessmen have set up many types of shops next to the mill.Among them are food shops, grocery stores, even tea shops, various types of vegetable shops, and clothing stores, etc.Since workers cannot afford to buy different brands of goods with their low income, they buy different types of goods from these shops.

There is a grocery store next to the sugar mill where workers can buy their essentials at very affordable prices.Since workers work most of the day, they cannot buy the products they need from far-flung or large supermarkets.And such businesses next to industrial establishments are very profitable.All types of goods are included in the same store.Workers will be able to purchase a variety of snacks and their groceries from the same store.Workers can eat breakfast from here during their free time, as well as purchase all the necessary items for their homes from this store.This shop is open every day from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.Most of the time, workers gather at this shop for tea.These businesses that are built next to industrial establishments are really very profitable.

Yes, of course I bought a cup of tea and an ice cream from this shop.Since I studied at Mubarakganj Sugar Mill Secondary School, I often bought various snacks from this shop during my tiffin time.Mubarakganj Sugar Mill is located next to my house.Since I went to review that shop today as a journalist, I had a cup of tea and an ice cream from there.The shop is really useful for all the workers in the organization.The shop sells a full range of different varieties.Such as tea, biscuits, cakes, bananas, bread, chips and various groceries.Workers eat breakfast here in the morning, gather here for tea during their free time, and buy essential items for their homes from here on their way home after work.

Working people are more attracted to these stores because they can buy their essential items at very low prices.Since workers work in industrial establishments most of the day, they do not have much time to shop at supermarkets or big markets, so they shop at the shops that have been set up next to the industrial establishments.That's where they mainly shop.Since they earn their living in these factories with very little income and they have very little time because they spend most of their time working in the factories.When they leave for home after finishing work from the factory, they shop at these stores to meet their household needs.Industrial workers don't get much time to eat their breakfast, so they buy breakfast from these nearby shops and gather here for tea during their free time.They usually have to meet their family and their own needs on a low income, so they buy their essential goods and food from these affordable stores.
I spoke to each shopkeeper here and learned that in addition to workers, people from the surrounding area also come here to buy various essential products.Since various types of goods are available here at very low prices, people from workers to ordinary people come here to shop.

Yes, of course these businesses are a great income opportunity for the people around the factories.Since a large Mubarakganj sugar mill is located here, more workers work in this mill.Many businesses have been established here based on these workers.People from different parts of the country come to work in this mill and rent houses here, where they live with their families.Traders are conducting their business around these mills and are making a major contribution to the economy.They run their business and take care of all the maintenance of their families through this mill.Just as workers buy various types of goods from here at low prices, traders earn some profit by selling goods to them and use that to run their families.If this industrial establishment had not been established here, traders would not have been able to set up shops here and they would not have been able to conduct their business.So finally, I would like to say that this industrial establishment has created opportunities for many businessmen to do business here.

I would like to say that I have gained a lot of experience from my one-day journalism duties and have understood all the business operations of ordinary shopkeepers.Many types of businesses are run primarily around an industrial enterprise. Businessmen run their businesses around this industrial enterprise and earn money from it to meet the needs of their families.So I want to say that small businesses are run around any industrial enterprise.And one of the main driving forces behind the development of these small businesses is large industrial enterprises.
